The finalists singing Read All About It: James Arthur was SHOCKING
At least they all sang live, unlike the awful miming of recent years - Mary Byrne would you please stand up.
But James looked and sounded so out of place, it wasn't even funny. Kye Sones was the best, by a country mile. |

It was awful, but then it's not a song he would usually sing.

I thought the whole performance was shocking and I was fed up with hearing it by that point!

Should have stuck to singing the Hey Arther theme song.

The group numbers always make me cringe. Do agree Kye was very good though!

Kye was the only good one in that group performance tbh.

I can't say I remember the group performance to be honest. There was nothing memorable about X Factor this weekend. I can't even be bothered to go back and take a look at the group performance as It was so boring the first time that I can't remember it!

Agreed, he was truly unfathomable and completely inane. I've got nothing to oppose his musical ambitions etcetera, but I sincerely hope he will not obtain a record deal with a voice like that, literally can't stand it as in my case it is nothing other than excessive tripe.

I enjoyed it
and thought James was good in it and even enjoyed Lucy's bit at the end even though I'm not much of a fan of hers

He was brilliant imo.
Definitely stood out basing it on vocals alone.
