I pressed the Record just a few minutes before "The Brits" and then this morning looked for it..
I could not readily find on the 1G drive THEn right at the penultimate entry withstuff fro arounf last Xmas i found the prog in excellent condition..
I have not read of how the Humax decides where to keep it's files but i often find them quite early on in the search back from the Alphabetical folders..and other times right at the back..
have i missed something in a guide perhaps please?

Look at the bottom of the media list screen it says LIST SORT abc.

Pressing list toggles the sort order

By Name, By Channel Number, By Time. The order is remembered till you change it again.

Thank you Graham..now who on earth remembers that C4HD is channel 126.?? Never mind 'Oggy' on 604
and yet the Set leaves the Humax factory set for Channels!
What a waste of such a large button for LIST when the surely most regularly used ..[It was for me]..GUIDE button is so obscure..Clealy a design limitation there..
Equally operation of the Drop down has no relevance to the Folders anyway which stay the same in Alphabetical order
It is no surprise to me that with nearly 3 years operation this was my first time and the last pressing LIST.

What other order would make sense for folders ?

'Time last added to' would suit me down to the ground Graham.. and for that matter..
I'll Bet that you know NO-ONE who files in Channel Order
There are many others i am sure who actually seldom watch the programs which are there as a reserve..as Iplayer etc on less than 2 megs is not feasible..More than a million living less than 30 miles from London in same position..too far away even from the 'Dumbed Down Infinity'..Majority of Scotland and Wales have faster than we do here Down South..[rant Over]
