bit of an obvious comment to make but according to the Daily Star Simon Cowell has stated that last week there was only 1.5% difference between the votes cast for G4 and Steve.Not a big gap and it will probably swing on the neutral vote and Tabby's fans vote.

The floating voters will definitely decide the winner tonight. The Final is likely to attract between 2/3 million new viewers. It definitely is all to play for. Just read on ITV Teletext there has been a sudden rush of bets on G4 so they are at present narrow favourites........but too close to call. They both need a powerful vote winner for their final song - don`t know what Steve is saving for the end but the G4 boys are closing with Nessum Dorma (and it don`t come more powerful than that!) One thing for sure - it will be nailbiting.

OK going to contradict my self in this but though I think it is close Simon saying it means nothing.
If one was on 99% and the other 1% he would still say it was too close to call. It's the nature of these shows. On I'm a celebrity Ant and Dec could hardley keep there faces straight when telling us it was too close to call.

But when it was Michelle and the other one in Pop Idol they didn't say it was close because it was obvious she was going to win. And everybody expected Gareth to win and Will to be runner up. I really do think it is close but that G4 will win on novelty value.

Plus it actually was close between Joe and Paul on I'm a Celeb wasn't it? I thought 2% in the end??
