Is eastenders stereo typing too much with the masoods? |

Is eastenders stereo typing too much with the masoods?
has anyone else noticed that every family meal scene there eating curry?? im aware that its the backgrounds traditional cooking but surely they wouldn't eat this every-night seeing as the family are mostly born and bred British/lived in Britain most of there lives? give them fishfingers and chips for supper once in a while!

I've not noticed to be honest. I would hardly describe using one stereotype as "two much". I think the Masood's are no where near a good representation of a British-Asian family.

The fact Masood holds 3 jobs now is pretty much a stereotype!

I think a stereotypical Muslim couple would have had a very strict father and a submissive mother - both very traditional and religious. Whereas the Masood's are practically the opposite of that with a very laid back easy going father and a very opinionated mother, I think they're very unconventional in that sense.

When there's been breakfast they've eaten cornflakes and Toast. |
