Corrie: Ken, Dierdre and Wendy Crozier
I briefly remember this as I was only a kid, but at the time, this was quite a big storyline.
Fast forward 20+ years and it was nice to see the depth unearthered in the acting particularly with Ken. It's also a point worth mentioning to try and retain original casting and/or some quality long-standing characters. They're the ones really that lay the foundations in what is still one of the best soap operas in the business.

She's doing it again though, this is what she was like when she first started chasing Ken the last time, she;s a manipulative old crone & leopards don't change their spots. Ken can't see it yet but this time I think Wendy will be a full on obsessive nut job.

Wasn't it a Mr. Papdopolous who owned the corner shop many years ago? Maybe they're related - after all, it's not as though it's a common name like Grimshaw. (Grimsdale? Grimsdike?).

A Mr Papadopoulos owned Gamma Garments where Emily worked with Mr Swindley in the 1960s.

Can anyone confirm? I seem to recall most of her children died (as they tend to do in 'Emmerdale'). I think she went mad in the end and had to be sectioned after stealing Kim Tate's baby. |
