I have a Humax freesat box. I have a 3 hour progamme recorded. I would like to 'save' a 5 minute section of the programme. Is there a way of editing the recoding? - ie to 'get rid of' the parts of the recording before and after the 5 minute section I want to save ?

Thanks

Either install the custom firmware and copy the recording .ts file directly to a PC or

Attach a usb drive to the hdr and copy the the recording to it (if it exceeds 4GB it will ned to be EXT3 formatted).

Download a trial copy of Videredo plus

http://www.videoredo.com/en/ProductPlus.htm

Extract the bit you want to save as a new .ts file.

Use AV2HDR to create the 3 files required by the Foxsat. .ts .nts .hmt.

If you have the custom firmware ftp these back to the foxsat or use the usb drive route to upload the edited version.
