I get that you don't like Vincent, that's fair enough, we can't all like the same people. I know his humour annoys some on here too (not me by the way - I like him.)

But I really don't think that they are whinging or making excuses, it is just that all of the couples are portryaying a different persona or characteristic which gets picked up on, for example Lisa's size, Jerry's laziness, Johnny's age etc etc.

They are trying their best to improve just like everyone else.......and they look to me as thought they are having a ball!

She's 1m50, don't know how much that is in imperial nose lengths, but that's small.”

Dani is 1m55/5'1, so 1m50 must be 4'11 in "old money". I think once you get below 5 foot that really is small.

Thanks. 4'11 sounds really, really small.

Surely 1m 50 would be 5ft exactly? 12 inches (ie a foot) = 30cm so Dani should be classed as 1m52/1m53

The comments just seem to be non stop at the moment.

Vincent used to be as tall as a house until he was shrunk by the evil wizard Gargamel.

No that's not correct. If you want to be pedantic 1.50m = 4 feet 11 1/16 inches

I'm really not a fan of either of them, but I found the height thing quite funny. As has been said, they're the ones who mentioned it first, and neither seems the type to take a bit of teasing the wrong way.

That said, I don't want to hear them going on about it all series. They really need something new to say about them for the next show.

It's not exactly new and it's not limited to Vincent and his partners either. I remember Jill and Darren's height was mentioned quite a lot in series 2. They keep talking about the tall people's height as well such as Colin Salmon and Zoe in series 3.

Chris&Ola kept referreing to themselves as dancing hobbits.

Every couple has their identifying 'thing', but height always seems to get a lot of emphasis, either way.

It does get a bit tedious I find, and I am finding this already with Dani&Vincent. But at least she hasn't said 'Bog Off' again...

I do think they need to ease up on it a bit though.

Only just watched the first shows and the height thing really did annoy me as well.

The OP asked if anything else was annoying. Well the thing I find annoying, yeah, is how Darcy ends soo many of her sentences, yeah, with yeah, yeah?

I find the height thing more annoying than Darcy.

Good old BBC making doubly sure they're avoiding any humorous reference to obesity with Lisa, nosireebob, that would be crass.

It's Ok though to flog to death, including "hilarious" wedding cake props, the fact that Vincent and Dani are wee. Unless it's goodbye Dani buckle yourself up for a few more weeks of this.

There are already *plenty* of threads on this subject...
