I think Chris Chittell may have ruined the surprise on alan Titchmarsh

When asked about the death in the live episode he commented

'1 death?, Theres 2!'

:O

Surely one male and one female? Carl and Chaz.

Oooh 2 deaths?? Who's in the line up then? Everyone? I wonder if they're both favourites?

I'm betting Cameron & Carl then? Unless it's a red herring?

It doesn't have to be a person.

Chris is not averse to a bit of mischief.

oooh I don't know- he seemed a bit confused to me - he also said there were going to be " 2 or 3 babies" - even though the actress that plays Priya did not deny or confirm what he said- just think he got confused

I was thinking the same thing.
Chaz has got herself into a situation where there's no redemption. And with Carl selling his shares and putting his house on the market...........
(Jimmy will no doubt inherit the house)

I'm now thinking along the same lines... like are we sure both babies survive?

I'd be surprised if he was allowed to tell an outright lie on national tv, but I do think the second death might be collateral damage, eg poor Tootsie, or son of Gladys

There's only 2?, why can't we have a panic at the festival and kill off all the dead wood at once. It would save the new producer a job.

Of course the deaths will be Cameron locked in battle with Carl, similar to Sherlock Holmes and Moriaty falling of a waterfall.

Yes, there could be a bit of Corrie 'artistic licence' going on here when they said there was a death but it turned out to be some taxi driver we'd never clapped eyes on before!

I never understood why that death wasn't the tram driver who just looked a bit suprised during the Crash, he didn't look that bothered to be honest.

I'm sure stuntman extras get paid a good whack, bet he was delighted. His agent spent years getting him that gig.

LOL seriously? No redemption?? She hasn't been hiding bodies in the pub cellar.... she had an affair with her niece's fella- immoral yes, but hardly a crime...

People have done far worse in the dales, Nicola used to be a proper bitch- she even plotted to kill that old bloke she married, not mention trying to steal her brothers boyfriend- however she has redeemed herself...

Chaz may have made mistakes, but She could come back from all this-
It would be a total cop out if Chaz died- there would be no fallout from the affair- seeing how she would make amends with Debbie her niece and Cain her brother.

Well if its the same as Corrie's Four Funerals and a Wedding or Home and Away's infamous "Someone (aka an extra) wont make it through the night" promos I wouldn't be getting too excited!!

The difference is that Chas is a Dingle. Betraying your own is the worst thing you can do.

Edit - I don't think she is worthy of being killed off. But in general I just think she would find it hard to stick around/be tolerated in the village. Which is probably why they're ramping up the Carl is a obsessed, vile stalker angle to make her sympathetic.

Got to agree with this. The very fact that she seems to have a bad conscience about it nowadays shows that she's not a bad person, just one that fell for the wrong man and made a huge mistake by having an affair with him. Easily redeemable IMO.

Chas has featured very heavily this year so it would be quite shocking if she was the one who died Because of the over use of her I was under the impression that she was one of the PTB's favourites! Unless Lucy P wanted to leave of course .....

I'm hoping that this isn't one of those situations like Zak where most of us had sussed out that he was the one bashed Cain so when the reveal came it was no surprise. IMO they are definitely making it look like Carl is going to come a cropper () but I hope they're just leading us up the garden path so to speak.

How about the death of a character and the show itself?

How can it be Chas? The writers need her to fill a good 10 minutes of every episode. What else could possibly fill that sort of gap, other characters?!

There isn't any deadwood on the show anymore, SB got rid of it all.

Anyway, if there are 2, I can see one being Betty and then take your pick from the obvious 3.
