Has Favia got somewhere she needs to be in the next couple of weeks? Wedding in Italy? Jimi on location with hot young chick? Brother in jail? Because she seems determined to be as unpopular as possible in as short a space of time as possible.

You cannot do a VW to that! You can't do anything but vomit to that! I'm speechless.

Must admit, it's not exactly the greatest of songs to choose.

And I tried to guess what Johnny's song was by his miming, but it could be the Birdie Song for all I know.

OMG! There's a worse choice than Flavia's. Natalie, what were you thinking? Have they been having themed parties in the break and someone got a £1.99 cd?

Ah jeez. How come no one likes music? They're dancers for eff's sake. You'd think they'd have some taste.

Well, to be fair, there's
Spoiler
Frankie, and Seal is OK, ditto Little Richard
, but that aside all of this is a stinking pile of poo, IMO. Oh, no, I tell a lie
Spoiler
Van Morrison is OK if a little over-familiar

I want 'em to come out and dance to Morphine. That'd stir things up a bit

Sid & Ola, Jerry & Anton and Denise & James have chosen well.

I love Colin & Kristina, but that is a very dull song they've picked. I've never liked it. It's down there with R Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly".

I hope Pasha isn't going to use very modern songs for every dance he and Kimberley do.

She really, really doesn't want Louis to win does she ?

I kind of like the baroque feel to it. But yes, it's dull. There's nothing startling in this batch.

I don't think they choose their first couple of weeks songs themselves do they? I thought they were given them as they immediately start training on their first two dances as soon as they have met their partner. I might be wrong but I think they would have been given this.

Most of the songs are awful but I really don't think they choose their own for weeks 1 & 2. I think they are given them when they are paired up as they start training on those first two weeks immediately. I had always assumed so anyway....

Even worse she let Michael choose that song!

If these are the choices of the new producers, my hopes for this series have just been shattered. Do they hate Louis so much ?

So...John Lewis muzak week on SCD then?!

I am a huge fan of Fern and Artem's song and think that's a great call. Not sure what Vincent's been smoking but I think Flavia got more of it than he did

If you'd said to me before I watched that video 'there's only one couple whose training video doesn't contain any actual training' then I think I'd have worked out the correct answer without too much hardship

I think Lisa and Robin's could be quite dramatic to that song.

I like Sid and Ola's - liked it when
Spoiler
Rachel and Vincent
used it, too.

Spoiler
Someone Like You
can easily be turned into a Foxtrot if the music and speed of the song is changed, they've done in in previous shows.

Perhaps some choose their own and some don't in the beginning I know Flavia said last year that her and Russell were GIVEN Venus as it was when they were just paired up.

Anyway, their dance looks pretty good from the couple of seconds we see, so hopefully a good dance will make up for the crap song.

If anyone can make something good from that song, it will be Flavia.
