It would be unfortunate if one of the better series of SCD was stymied by injuries

Yes, you got it!

When I watch, I do feel sorry for James' nose but it didn't look like much fun for Ola either, being hurled to the ground with all the extra momentum of the spin.

Whiplash? Is James taking 'cracking the whip' literally?

It did remind me of one of the greatest ever Hollywood films - well not really, but it was one of the best ever outfits worn.
Too much to hope for Denise as Catwoman in Hollywood week?

Hope she's well enough to dance. It's a shame for any celeb to get injured this early in the series.

Personally I think it's too early for the Jive, so being hurt as well will make it even harder to get good scores.

They're not having much luck are they ? First James gets a black eye from Ola, then a broken nose from Ola, then Denise gets whiplash.

I was looking foward to their dance but she can't very well dance in a neck brace.

I thought their training looked good.

Do we know whether she will be ok to dance tonight? Whiplash can be pretty nasty.

From her Twitter page it looks like she is dancing tonight - she said that it's still sore but much better than yesterday.

I hope she's there tonight. Denise and James have good potential.
