Ir's not all doom and gloom in the land of the soaps....it is just you have to think back from time to time So what are your faveriout comdey moments from the soaps? link us a clip if you have it.....we could all do with a giggle.

Mine are

Corrie- Norris and Mary 'The misery' episode where Norris was convinced (possibly correctly) Mary was a psychopath out to kidnap/kill him.Her talking to her 'Dead Mother' and him falling in the ditch.

Eastenders- (yes they did have some laughs :P) "Hello Philip...it's your aunty Patricia here" heheheh Pat and Peggy drunk in the Ice cream van

HollyOaks- The Episode where the UFO visited the welsh student (I forget his name)

Neighbours - Izzy most indignant in the coffee shop after Suzann finds out about the affair- "Suzann, I am not some scarlet piranha !"
Suzann-"Haha, pariah Izzy....pariah ."

That was hideous. Possibly Eastenders lowest ever point.

I love Nigel in this clip:

Someone sticking a black tassel on Edna's red had she wears for special occasions. Got a feeling it was either Robert Sugden or Bob who did it. Anyway she didn't know they had done it and wondered why they kept doing Tommy Cooper impressions lol.

In Hollyoaks when Ben and Izzy were planning their wedding and they got the copies of their wedding invitations which had been spelt wrong and read "You are invited to the wedding of Ben Davies and his ride to be Easy Cornwell"

EE- Kim in the Minute Mart at night footage. Patrick, Denise & Kim looking at it.

Corrie- I don't know her name, but I've seen in a BSA montage where a woman says in the Rover's "glad I'm not that drunk" she gets up and about to leave, and then she falls down on the floor. It looks hilarious

Brookside - Shiela and Kathy on a drunken night out. I swear the actors were laughing so long and loud, I was half convinced they were drunk.
If anyone can find it on you tube - and I couldn't - check out the 'Billy, I've got a special request for you. Tie your yellow ribbon.' scene. Now, out of context that seems like nothing. In the scene they were laughing so hard I'm amazed it wasn't classed as an outtake.

Found it! Corrie fans should also enjoy this Sue Johnson heavy episode...

Agreed. The whole thing was cheap and not funny in the slightest.

This really cracked me up... It's one of my favourite moments in EE full stop.

I quite liked everyone slagging Derek off about his club foot, and his cry of "It was fallen arches!" before he launched himself at Jack. That had me laughing!

Corrie, the Barlow's AA meeting is probably one of my favourite comedy soap moments in recent years, if anyone wanted to see how good Maggie Jones was as Blanche then I suggest they watch that scene... ''Careful she'll be coming on to ya next, there worse than a pair of swingers''
Also in Corrie Gail throwing a cake at Dreary and the famous 'KEN DO SOMETHING' line and Dreary and the pottery class was also very good. Eastenders has also had many comedy moments...Kim's CCTV video was hilarious...''I clean it up, after the break'' and Shirley and Hev's Southend lesbian convention and Shirley walking out to the Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart music also EE, Peggy and Pat getting drunk in the ice cream van, Suzy Brannings christmas day exit ''see ya bunch of losers'' and Fatboy explaining to the copper at the police station about what had happened to Leon.

That doesn't sound too funny. Perhaps if they'd put him in a funny outfit........

Eastenders - Alfie's search for a condom (2003)
At the time I'd never seen an Eastenders episode like it. Shane Richie was so funny as Alfie during that episode and I loved the cameo from Antony Booth.

Eastenders - Bar room brawl (2012)
Derek pinning Masood down shouting, "Do you surrender?!" then his face when Syed poured ice down his back, Michael repeatedly getting pushed about then giving Fatboy a nipple cripple, and Max getting his head hit off the door - I laughed so hard at that.

Hollyoaks - Mr C, Max and OB lost in the woods during Ben's stag do (2003)
Max and OB had fallen out and the three of them got lost in the woods. After a huge argument, Mr C ended up caught in some trap left by paintballers and as he swung about shouting about, "The will to chill" Max and OB started fighting.

Emmerdale - Matthew King's dig at Charity after it's revealed she slept with Jimmy and then blackmailed him for £100,000.(2005)

Carl: A hundred grand?! It would take our bin men five years to earn that!

Matthew: Longer.

Carl: Humping garbage.

Matthew: Well that's what he was doing...

But the funniest of all has got to be Blanche from Corrie. Every one liner she had was a classic.
