BBC3 and BBC4 not showing up on Freesat+ planner
This is weird. I'm going out this evening so want to record something on BBC4. However, for the first time ever so far as I can recall, neither BBC3 nor BBC4 are showing up on the planner.
Is this the BBC not getting their act together (as very occasionally happens with upcoming Channel 4 programmes) or is it a problem with my Fox Humax recorder? Would some kind soul look at their planner to see if they are having the same problem? Many thanks.

Has a look at my Foxsat-hdr. At first glance BBC3 & 4 appears blank, but epg data is present when transmission starts at 19:00. The normal this is BBCx is missing when off air.

Thank you for your helpful replies. Just been out shopping, came in and put the Guide on and both BBC3 and BBC4 are up there without me having to do anything.
It's always so much of a relief when you know it's not your own equipment playing up! Thanks again - I can always rely on people on the DS forum to take time to help out.

Bbc3 & 4.
Can anybody explain what happened to BBC3/4 this week?
I had a series link to record Inspector Montalbano ![]() (brushing up on my Italian) but it failed on the 13th along with The Human Planet - same night. The 3.00am housekeeping didn`t do anything and I found that I had to retune to even get them back onto the EPG. Didn`t see any info regarding this. After doing the re-tune I went into the planner to delete any further recordings so I could re-do them but it took several attempts to even do that. Kept saying "The whole series will be deleted, are you sure"? When it finaly accepted that this is what I wanted to do I went back into the planner and after selecting record the series link again I was informed that the whole series would be stopped and are you sure? ![]() This happened twice again but seemed ok on the third attempt. Well I`m completely confused by all this and don`t really know if I`m going to finish my Italian course.

Basically they all moved around and changed transponders on the satellite. BBC3, BBC4, BBC News and BBC Alba all changed places and the BBC red button channels got cut down to ONE!
All of that seems to have upset your box (You are not the only one) A good reset may help. |
