Team G4 would just like to say
That we’ve backed you up from the very first day.
You’ve stood out like stars and passed every test,
You’ve made songs your own and surpassed all the rest.
We all feel the buzz as the final draws near,
Whatever the outcome there’s one thing that’s clear,
The X factor itself is defined by you,
This is the start of something new.

Sock it to 'em, boys

Mocha, in the nicest possible way, I think you're reading far too much into this.

Their treatment of Creep was amazing, it was the defining moment of X Factor for me, the moment when I sat up and said 'wow!'. I was watching with an avid Radiohead fan, Jason, and we both looked at each other and he said 'they have to release that'.

It's not often I get excited about anything on these shows, but I think G4 have really captured a bit of magic with this song. Ok, so some people are firmly in the 'Creep should be left alone' camp, but IMO songs are for singers, and this is no exception.

It will be sensational, have no fear. And quit worrying about the words, it's daft, trust me

If it makes you feel any better, the last words of Nessun Dorma loosely translate as 'we will conquer...'

But they sung 'My way' and that had some words like that in it, but look at them now, they are in the final!

Phewww....thanks Spell!

I was getting worried

I desperately want them to win, so yes, I guess I'm reading too much into it.

I will edit the post above...

Thanks once again!

You're a doll!

I do agree with you Mocha about Creep

This is the weakest link tonight in my view for the boys. Not because of the words necessarily but the song itself.

I just hope the other two songs are so good that this is enough for the floating voters to vote for them. Can't think as far as how well the single will sell. They have to win first!

Den and Mocha, have faith

I think 'Creep' will go down a storm. And you know me, I'm always right

One thing; really, really listen to the ending when they perform it tonight, the harmonies are stunning.

Why do you have to be so likeable, eh?

Something else to consider;

Simon must also believe G4 have something special with Creep. It's his label, don't you think he must have a say in the potential single?

Good point!

Then again, you always make sense!

Hmmm.. apart from Miss Congeniality I think we should all sign a petition and get G4 to assign you the post of their personal advisor

Rough translation of Nessun Dorma:

No one sleeps, no one sleeps...
Even you, o Princess,
In your cold room,
Watch the stars,
That tremble with love
And with hope.
But my secret is hidden within me;
My name no one shall know, no, no,
On your mouth I will speak it
When the light shines,
And my kiss will dissolve the silence
That makes you mine.

Vanish, o night!
Set, stars!
At daybreak, I shall conquer!
