Another year, if anyone performed a part of their routine on Friday 's ITT it became the Dance of Doom.

Can you remember any more, or what might become a bad omen this time around?

I do remember the 'show a bit of your dance on Friday's ITT and get voted off the following day' curse. There was, until last year (or possibly the year before - they segue into each other in my memory) also a 'dance first on the first show and make the final' blessing (if 'blessing' is the opposite of 'curse').

Monkseal is the real expert on this though, particularly on which dance spells DOOM to a couple. His blog says (with tongue firmly in cheek) that the new DANCE OF DEATH is the Argentine Tango.

There was also the curse of the trousers back in Series 8 *I think* where any females (celeb or pro) wearing trousers, ended up bottom 2 and more often than not, eliminated

First one off is normally someone who works for ITV or one who isn't as well known (or both)...so I am thinking Richard Arnold or Colin Salmon.

Yes dance of doom as op mentioned. Which means if the trend ocurrs through to this year then Nicky and Karen are gonnas!

It must be James Jordan Matt Baker and Aliona danced the Samba on Friday ITT Blackpool and they were top of the leader board (I think) ....best male Samba ever......

I remember the trousers curse. I think that sometimes followed through in the last series too. If so then Victoria's split harem trouser thingies put her in danger and flavia is wearing palazzo pants/culotte dress in the publicity/credits shots

Was it Brendan's Samba curse? I seem to remember praying it would work on Blulu and then it didn't. Rotten no good curse
