Phil going for custody of Lexi is bad
The walrus is simply swimming to the last remaining beacon in the black sea of his life.

Lola's gonna regret spilling the beans, sadly.

What?

Is Sharon's OTT eye acting not bugging anyone else?

Her bug-eyed wide open stares are freakin' me out people...

I'm glad Denny voiced his disapproval over her overbearing ways. Other than that, the Sharon scenes were meh.

And now Jack already has the new blonde living with him [with history with the Mitchell's no less].

BIB: Didn't know my opinions were so shocking

BIB2: Not me. Anyway, I was referencing the upcoming Sharon/Phil storyline, of which I'm looking forward to, not Sharon in this actual ep (thus she wasn't included in my episode stars).

Looking at her upcoming storyline, she'll be, to quote Katy Perry

'the one that got away'

You know I have a feeling she will get pregnant but the joke will be on Jack as he wont be the father....just saying.
Denny was not bad tonight, I notice she got his hair cut. I found his reaction rather believable and proof why she did not say everything as understandably he did not fully get it. He sort of understands but not properly which fits in with his age.

Love / Hate that song...

So Sharon's gone after Christmas perhaps then? I mean, unless they start leaving breadcrumbs for a Dennis Snr. Reveal with Phil soon [probably with Derek's help], I'm still at a loss as to why she's even around.

Considering Letitia signed for a year I doubt it. Sharon has always had a odd connection with the square as shown in particular in the early 90s. She has just as little reason there as many other residents if you think about it. I just wish she was used around people like Ian or Phil where she shines then the Brannings.

Definitely agreed here. Ian's not been on screen for afew weeks now.

And yeah, I guess she's still finding her feet I suppose. The Tanya 'friendship' I can just about buy more than Sharon and Jack, though.

Letitia's signed a year's contract and has stated she wants to stay on long term (and become a matriach) so she won't be leaving Xmas. As for why she's there, why not? She seems to have fallen out with Michelle, doesn't have anywhere else to go, and the people who are most closest to her, Phil and Ian live in the square. Deep down, it's her home despite all the traumas it's brung and the one place she knows inside out.

You know I have a feeling she will get pregnant but the joke will be on Jack as he wont be the father....just saying.

I know what you mean there (), but I'm unsure of whether they will go down that storyline, at least in the medium term. I agree with you on Denny, his reaction was understandable, given that he's six and won't understand the complexties of why Sharon lied. Any other reaction would be unrealistic IMHO.

Ian's last episode was 20th September, The Phil is back one.

The writing for Tanya has been awful these past few months. I've gone off her lately, I assume they're trying to make us hate her so we don't want her back when she takes her break.

It was nice to get a break from Tanya. Derek, Lauren, Alice & Joey tonight

The Masoods were the best they've been all week. Every other ep. I've been bored to tears.
Like the Fatz/Tambo friendship, the stand up was a bit of a letdown.

Liked the Phil/Billy scenes. This story is probably holding my intention the most. Danielle continues to shine. Liked Jabi trying to help. Sharon being involved in the story will be a bonus.

Liked the Sharon/Denny scenes. Harry is a good wee actor.

Kim was annoying, would've preferred Denise in those scenes.

Jack should go play in some traffic.

Syed & Danny: The most interesting Syed has been in yonks.

Roxy annoys me when she shouts.

6/10

I find them incredibly mis-matched, incredibly boring to watch, and being of around their age group, I find their relationship completely cheesy, dated and unrealistic to the ones *I* see, and I just cannot buy into it. That is not to say I believe all relationships between teenagers should be like the ones I find realistic, though it probably plays a part as to why I can't stand Jabi.

It does absolutely nothing for me.

I also find Jay absolutely irritating with Abi.

I don't see why they need to be together. They don't seem to have any undeniable chemistry or much in common. Their writing is always cheesy romance and I rarely see them just talk without Jay saying something like 'oh, abi, you're so great' and Abi blushing and then the actors kissing awkwardly.

As you can see. Their relationship is just not for me.

I like Jay better with Lola, though he doesn't have to be with her either. I just find their scenes more natural and they have more fun together. And he isn't always saying 'oh, Lola, you're so great' which is refreshing.

Thanks for your response.

I actually agree with you about the cheesy aspect of it. I'm close to the age of the pair of them and like it or not, a couple who acted the way they do would probably be a laughing stock to some. That being said, even if they were tolerated by all, that doesn't mean they would stop being cheesy! I'm waiting for the scene where Jay rubs froth away from Abi's nose after she drinks a milkshake and they both giggle uncontrollably!

I know you said they don't have to be together but I'd find Lola and Jay to be even more cliched. Two hard luck stories finally finding someone on the same wavelength, Jay raising Lexi as his own, yadda yadda yadda. Neither of them are particularly tough either, they'd just be jogging bottom clad Abi and Jay IMO.

I think if they tweak Abi and Jay a little, then I'd keep them together. By "tweak", I'm not suggesting turn Jay into a womaniser overnight and send Abi onto crack. This is EE, not Skins.

Phil taking charge of anything bound to go wrong, Phil gettig Lexi, the man just detroys children I hope Lola gets in there before King Phil does any lasting damage.
Poor Lola she being tricked by Phil, I hope she eventually gets Lexi.

Denny is soo adorable, such a lovely kid. I can understand why Sharon told that lie to protect him, but im glad she told him the truth. I think she great with Denny.

Tamwar was so right about Zainab she does think Syed the golden child and forgets about him. I felt sorry for him when his family couldnt be bothered to turn up for his comedy show.
Syed is soo selfish and is annoying the hell out of me, feel sorry for Christian whose soo lovely he does everything for Syed and the best partner you could ask for and Syed doesnt deserve someone as good as Christian . I liked Chryed but currently I'm only liking Christian.

Can't wait to see Tamwar do comedy again
He wasn't much cop

I really like the relationship between Sharon and Denny. It's rare to see a mother care so much about her child in soaps!!
But has she told him the whole truth.

Your dad was a killer.
Your granddad was also murdered...twice
My dad and your dad's dad was the same person

Abi Branning , the nicest girl in Soapland by a mile
Tis true

Lola on the Rampage
Rather predictable conduct:yawn:

What happened to billy not letting jay back in the house?
Silly Billy talks tough but it only lasts for one episode

Syed dumping family and his fiancée to go cheat.
and yet I read on here that Syed loves Christian and loves his family

Denny is really not a momma's boy anymore now. That scowl!
Still needs a proper haircut

Come on, they wouldn't let the kid stay with Phil and his history with the law, would they?
But Philth has deep pockets and he has the best ( bent) solicitor

This.

Makes me green that I never really did that [as a young teen]. Too shy [and in the closest] at the time.

Kim got the last laugh Sorry Sharon, you were very rude. And your flickering eyes don't help you look any less scary!
BIB: Disgustingly rude and there was no need for it. Kim was just being Kim and trying to have a bit of a laugh but she got all @rsey.

Can't say I'm enjoying Sharon's return.

And why would she choose to go and stay with Jack when her old friend Phil offered her a roof over her head? Bad decision Sharon. At least she knows all about Phil - she knows p!ss all about the man she's taken her 6 year old son to live with Bad move. I'm not impressed at all. And oh God when she starts simpering (or whatever you call it) with him I want to puke.

Come on, they wouldn't let the kid stay with Phil and his history with the law, would they?
I wouldn't have thought so! But this is a soap and anything can happen.

I wonder when Denny's eighteen will Sharon still be calling him 'baby'?
I've said this before but at 6 my son would have been putting me straight that he wasn't a baby and don't call him it! Probably accompanied with a stamp of the foot

True. Crying shame he's only been brought in as a Syed/Christian prop.

OMG busted by Mas !
I hope Mas hauls him over the coals! But no doubt if Zainab finds out she'll find some excuse for her number one (in every way) son

Considering Letitia signed for a year I doubt it. Sharon has always had a odd connection with the square as shown in particular in the early 90s. Again I totally agree. Mind, truth be told, I've never been a fan of Syed. Shifty wimp IMO.

(should I duck for cover? )

But has she told him the whole truth.

Yes, Phil..but I wonder if you'll tell Denny how Dennis punched you when he arrived in the Square (his finest moment)
I vaguely remember this but am going to have to look for it on youtube because I want to watch it again several times. I love anyone getting the better of Philth.

Come on, they wouldn't let the kid stay with Phil and his history with the law, would they?
I just can't believe this storyline.

I'm finding the Masoods boring at the mo. It can't just be me, surely?
You're not the only one. I have found them boring all week.

Bit of a flashback, it was Mas who caught Syed with Christian those years ago.
Yes, I remember that.

Sorry - he looks too much like a younger David Cameron for me ....
Danny definitely does have a look of Cameron.

Jack will soon have her fertilized.
Yuk, I hope not. Anyway, isn't Sharon in her mid 40s? It's a bit unlikely I would think.

Looking at her upcoming storyline, she'll be, to quote Katy Perry

'the one that got away'

I hope so. I can't stand Jack at the moment and I don't want to see Sharon in a relationship with this one-dimensional character played by a plank of wood.

I actually agree with you about the cheesy aspect of it. I'm close to the age of the pair of them and like it or not, a couple who acted the way they do would probably be a laughing stock to some.

This is what's sad about teenagers. Not just now but years ago too. Why do they have to bully other teenagers if they don't 'approve' of a more innocent relationship? Not every teen is ready to shag around at 16. Abi is one of the sweetest characters in EE and I like that she's not the typical teen usually portrayed in EE such as Lola, Whitney and Stacey (in the past). I really hope they never ruin her character with a predictable teen pregnancy storyline.
