Poor Lola she being tricked by Phil, I hope she eventually gets Lexi.

Denny is soo adorable, such a lovely kid. I can understand why Sharon told that lie to protect him, but im glad she told him the truth. I think she great with Denny.

Tamwar was so right about Zainab she does think Syed the golden child and forgets about him. I felt sorry for him when his family couldnt be bothered to turn up for his comedy show.
Syed is soo selfish and is annoying the hell out of me, feel sorry for Christian whose soo lovely he does everything for Syed and the best partner you could ask for and Syed doesnt deserve someone as good as Christian . I liked Chryed but currently I'm only liking Christian.”

Christian hasn't been perfect by any means, "It's me or the baby" being a particular highlight last year, as well as refering to Amira as "nothing" in front of Syed before she returned to do anything wrong - indicating that he lacked empathy for what Amira went through - and giving Roxy his sperm without informing Syed. He was definately a bit possessive last year. Yes, Christian is being more or less lovely now but he's also becoming too domesticated, preferring to sit and rub Zainab's feet in front of the telly than make sure both he and Syed still feel desired by each other. They have Yasmin a lot too.

Christian is ready for settling down at 40 after various relationships, whereas Syed is just touching 30 and has only had ONE serious relationship in his life. He loves Christian but being married "forever" must be a little scary for someone in his position. People often say that C and S are too different to be together realistically and well, this is one example of those differences.

I agree about Tamwar's view of his mother and no doubt this is where tensions are going next week.

Abi is certainly in danger of being too nice for Eastenders, she might cause problems for the writers in the future.

Letitia is older than Sharon who turns 43 at the end of October, hardly too old to get pregnant ask my aunt who had her last when she was 48 (just) poor lady.

I actually agree with you about the cheesy aspect of it. I'm close to the age of the pair of them and like it or not, a couple who acted the way they do would probably be a laughing stock to some. That being said, even if they were tolerated by all, that doesn't mean they would stop being cheesy! I'm waiting for the scene where Jay rubs froth away from Abi's nose after she drinks a milkshake and they both giggle uncontrollably!

I know you said they don't have to be together but I'd find Lola and Jay to be even more cliched. Two hard luck stories finally finding someone on the same wavelength, Jay raising Lexi as his own, yadda yadda yadda. Neither of them are particularly tough either, they'd just be jogging bottom clad Abi and Jay IMO.

I think if they tweak Abi and Jay a little, then I'd keep them together. By "tweak", I'm not suggesting turn Jay into a womaniser overnight and send Abi onto crack. This is EE, not Skins.”

I don't really say why Jay would limit his choice to either Lola of Abi anyway. It just doesn't make any sense to me. But that's another story for another day.

Both Jay & Lola and Jay & Abi have their flaws as couples. I just find Jabi intolerable and Jay and Lola more watchable, they could just stay friends. Romance isn't always needed!

OMG Syed. Why do cheat on Christian ? And Massoud saw everything at the end. That is not good. That will be drama this week.

Phil wants that Lexi should stay with him. WITH HIM ? Why should social services say "Yes" to this with his history ?
