Backup Utility
When you use the backup utility to backup to a usb drive.
What data actually gets saved. I have a 250gb slim that has about 40gb free space left and was gonna change the drive for a 1tb one. Went through the backup but it said i need about 150gb of available space to complete the backup. What the hell can the 150gb actually be. |

It reserves a percentage of the hard drive for its own files that you don't see. The bigger the are drive, the larger the percentage it takes for itself.
