’d evening. I survived the dinner even though I was asked to go up steps in high heels and present an award.

Evening Gemo, so your dress 'held up' then? I'm assuming you didn't trip up & fall flat on your face. *clunkity*

On of the first things someone said to me as I walked into the reception was how much they liked my dress.

The compére held my hand and walked me up and down the steps so I didn’t fall. I’ve been trying to remember his name, he was in Byker Grove and he performed a very pleasant background cabaret during dinner.

He was fairly cheerful, he was using his iWalk because he is more stable with it, and he let me help him with things instead of trying to be independent.

His girlfriend will be starting a new job soon after being “let go” immediately after she qualified as a lawyer. She wasn’t at the dinner, his getting a place was very last minute because he expected to be in hospital. He has been put on the emergency list so as soon as there is a space he’ll be called in. The specialist is only in on Wednesdays so he won’t be awaiting a phone call every day – just once a week.

That's good news he's still remaining cheerful. Also good new his G/F has a job to go to. Islay's daughter graduated from uni with a lawyers degree, & is working in Morrisons because she can't get a job she studied for. It's ridiculous!

At least he knows to be semi prepared one day a week, better than every day just hoping.

Hi Twas. I'm posting 'til they delete my account which should be any time now.

Yes. Apparently I have been VERY "norty," a BAD influence on the Snuggers whilst their Ma ma was away.

LOL I always knew I was B. A. D.

Come on Chins where ARE you???!!!! Come up with an Acronym for it! B. A. D. DetectiveBea!

Can't you reconsider DB? These things blow over [whatever has happened] and anyhow there are other threads! You do know you can't then change your mind and come back, if you delete your account? Happened to a friend of mine from the sexy thread, she regretted it after a day, but DS would not allow her to re-register

Oh I know I was already told this was my last chance. But no, thanks Twas.... My heart has been to crushed to have a thread of hope left in which to continue posting.

I do appreciate yours and other's good cheer through the days! Ya made life worth living!

It's a shame when you've only been here a very short time, yet have been very prolific [well at least in Chatter, I don't leave here much!]. Surely its all a misunderstanding?

If you really are set on this, I wish you well and it was nice to have *met* you xx
