I worked hard for this Zero count I'm the envy of my garden shed. I am not gonna spoil it by giving you a random and saintly obscure fact about 1980`s culture that you will one day use at a party to woo somebody who you've completely fancied but ultimately failed to get off with. because you know they have a 1980`s fixation..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mCeEGNbM-U
It would be a waste of time anyway.

(a) I'll probably know it.
(b) I haven't yet had to resort to music to pull a lady.

Have one back. Not from the 80's.

It's not only Friday but it's 'to six' which is right at the beginning of PG time.

Very important to get these things right.

Thanks snOwy!

Well, I bought my plane ticket by using an app on my fabulous new phone and I also used it to check myself in. It now has a lovely boarding pass ready, all bar coded and up for being scanned, should someone want to scan.

All I need is a plastic card and some clean knickers and I'm good to go.

We were supposed to be away this weekend but Mr M caught a tummy bug so we're staying cosy at Melon Towers while I carry on the Great Clean-Up Operation.

Hi there. I feel I need to make an apology to you for not being very nice to you in the past. Hopefully, we can put this all behind. Are you still in The Netherlands, btw.

nah, me@'s the forgiving sort

Good job I am. The forgiving sort I mean - threw an olive branch to an old friend recently, and have pretty much had it chucked right back at me through passive aggressive Facebook shite. Stuff she thinks I can't see Honestly, some people never grow up ... but I've told myself it's her problem, not mine

Any road up, the very grumpy me was grumpy because of the absolutely rubbish provision for mental health services in this country. I'm sure many of us can empathise so no details needed really. Except I could rant at length about seeking support for one clearly defined issue, only to have the so-called professional raise lots of stuff which frankly at this point would be irrelevant... grrrrr

And breathe...

As you were Happy weekend (albeit a blustery one for some of us )

I was asked by some random teenager in the street, hanging out with his 'gang' mates, 'What's the umbrella for?' So, I say, 'In case it is going to rain', thinking duh what a stupid question, as the roads were pretty wet at the time.

On the very same road, I was approached by a random man, again hanging out in a group, and was asked 'Do you want a mobile?' I said bluntly to him 'No'. Then he said 'Do you want a slap?' I'm thinking this guy has got to be on something, as if I'm going to buy a mobile from a complete stranger in the street. I just walked along and said when I was far enough away, 'A slap. You've got to be joking' and continued on my way laughing. I'm not going to take on 5 blokes in their 20's.

Struth.

I was reading about those earlier this week and yes I did have a moment of "that's not a spider". Fortunately we've only encountered one absolutely ginormous spider and that was up in the rainforest in a toilet.... YoungPlum, aged about 6 at the time, had to make a hasty exit from the loo with knickers and shorts still round her ankles

We're going to go up and see some more crocodiles in the next week or two at this place. They are scarey things. Nothing cute about them, although it was great holding a baby one a few years ago.

On a cuter note, we spent the afternoon today playing with 5 five week old Boxer puppies, they were gorgeous. I so want one, although at $1500 dollars each I think they are out of our league, besides my friend said if we came back with one we'd be homeless

*waves to me@*
- lovely to see you here, hope all is well and life is good

Exactly jra.

Sad - I know, I've turned into one of those people who always has their mobile in their hand. Hopefully the novelty will wear off before I start to hate myself!

me@ - long time no see! How's things?

Plummy - puppies are almost impossible to resist but can you imagine DistructoPup and NewDistructoPup joining forces and ganging up on you? There would be no shoe left unchewed.

I know. I just really wanted to get away, avoid too much confrontation etc. I don't want to become another statistic or end up in A&E, just for the sake of a sarky comment or two.

I'm too old for this crap now. It's just not worth it.

I managed to avoid the storms. Just! Very bumpy flight but I got here half an hour early last night, due to a following wind!

What I wouldn't give to have been on that plane with you Bumpiness and everything

Here, no dramas, the most exciting event today being the return of little Sadette to her digs later after a weekend 'at home' (i.e. I've nearly finished the washing and she wants to get back to her social life).

I know my place...

Heyup, grumps. Hope none of you Saverners blew or washed away...

I'm back on the early shift, up at 5.45 this am to drive Over the Water to the school I'm doing supply work in - they're an hour away from me by car and start at 8am. *bleary blink*
It'll be even worse next week when Mr M is back at work and Melony back at school, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...

Happy trails, batty, hope all goes well over there.

Random hugs to random grumpies for all their random needs (((((((((((randomhug))))))))))))

ETA - it's an ill wind, eh, snowy...
