Actually, I *can* talk about the weather now - it's flipping piddling down here

My apologies for tone-lowering duty

Porn will kill you in the end, or was that drugs.

That's a paraphrase from the film 'The 51st State'.

Trust KJ for moral guidance in these matters.

PS I'm still shocked / impressed at handy!

KJ, of course, had looked the words up in urban dictionary, hence the advice not to Google.

Evening all. It's peeing down here and all the roads are flooding. Fab. Got to be up and out first thing and suspect I may have to put waterwings on the car in order to get there... *sigh*

I'm going to watch I'm a Zeleb - I'm that depressed

The good thing about lego porn is that the bits fit.

And it's hard porn by definition, if nothing else.

And now the groaning starts. I dunno, this used to be such a clean thread.

Batman's home and we're having a frank discussion about money and what a walk-in shower should cost. I can't see this ending well.

What about a wet room, or is that the same thing?

Could be expensive.

We had a wet room before and I'm not a massive fan, so a really big walk-in shower (no shower tray but just a continuation of the floor with a slight slope) is us meeting in the middle. So far so good, but from that point on we can't agree on anything.

We're suspending the shower war for Friday night, though. It will resume in some Yorkshire bathroom showroom tomorrow. Not yet decided who the lucky retailers will be this time.

Ok. I'm thinking of going into London tomorrow for a tenner rail fare, just looking around at various stuff. I want to see for instance whether the Circle Line has any S Stock yet and maybe go to Westfield Stratford.

I'm a geek. And I can travel to Westfield Stratford via the Jubilee Line, which will be nice.

Also, if I ask nicely, I'll be able to see the Javelins and Eurostars at Stratford International.

And there's always a good pint to be had at the 'Hole In The Wall' Waterloo.

Might check out the hydrogen buses again, as well.

Laughing away to myself reading through, too complicated to explain to Bloke why, anyway, GOW is "my" thang I don't share it with anyone.

Whilst reading about books I wondered if any of you read the Flowers In The Attic saga? And then jra lead me to thinking about another book I read Call Me Elizabeth, I'd book her...

London journey cancelled, as it's too f****** cold.

It can wait until the weather is milder.

Just remembered there is a model rail exhibition on this weekend at the NEC. Maybe tomorrow.

Just in case anybody is wondering. I normally get a one day travel card, but to go to the platforms at SI, you need a travel card stamped with +HS1, which isn't the default and I'm not sure they even sell them at my local station.
