jra glad you got sorted and found out who was using your name in vain
I didn't exactly read the riot act out, but asked politely that they refrain from doing it in the future. The reply was basically one of mockery, saying do I look all the time for people posting about me in threads, to which I replied I don't, hence the late original PM. Still, this being DS, I shouldn't be surprised at the response.

Hello Plum hope all well
jra glad you got sorted and found out who was using your name in vain
bat, yep Insomniac Central, no good at spreedsheets and window cleaner cleans windows funnily enough so I don't have too thankfully did you get your done? windows that is before KJ and jra think of something else
nothing much to report got earache now on the same side as the tooth was removed typical, hope every one is well if busy, Plum enjoy the weekend off
I started but then got bored and went back to trying to do some work, then started fiddling around with my lists, and then texting people, so all in all it was a very involved day, yet I managed to achieve next to nothing. Today's been even worse, but at least Batman's been working from home and he's most excellent at telling me to put my feet up, so I did.

PG time now.

Sounds like a plan. I was toying with going out for the third night in a row, but I think I'll just buy some booze and cigs, leaving my onslaught on the town until tomorrow.

Yo snoWbEs.

Erm, no news. I've had a haircut, and I'm not going with Palace to East Angular tomorrow. Which is a shame ... if I'd only thought. About Palace. Not the haircut. 6 on top 4 at the sides, all grey now. I is old.

(laura) Crikey you've been in the wars ...

Madrid on Monday.

Madrid as in going there?

TFIF. Am not keeping up terribly well, what with real life getting in the way as usual, but just wanted to say TFIF, really

Hugs to grumpy grumpies, and let me raise a glass to those of you heading for any kind of a holiday any day now ... I am sure you will earn it

As George Carlin said, I'm not getting old, I'm getting older, maybe that way it'll last a bit longer (paraphrased).

This is the grumpy old people thread, not the grumpy young people thread.

In other news. I've got two other people using my Sky Hub for Sky Fibre Unlimited internet access now (just rented out the spare room). Maybe I should set up a public wifi hotspot, or maybe not.

Blimey, snowy! That takes the biscuit, that one!

Poor Laura
Feel better soon.

No news here except we're all knackered and I'm a bit ugh-y this morning. Picked up a bug of unspecified nature and feel a bit vile; Melony in a grump cos I said I felt too rough to help her get dressed, Mr M in a grump cos we're all worn out and the house is a tip, I just want to sleeeeeeeep... Bah Humbug!

You need a duvet day handy. (((hugs))) And you LL - I can't believe your rotten luck. (((more hugs)))

And yes, the boy will be with us at Christmas, which is great because I'm missing him like crazy and it looks like I might not be seeing him until he breaks up. Unless I can bribe him to come home next weekend!

Where Christmas will be is another matter. Batman's abroad with work again for a stretch and I need to touch base with Poland so we're negotiating a country at the moment.

Ouch! (((snOwy)))

handy - a pottering day sounds fab. Enjoy. And don't be tempted to do too much!

My Christmas is definitely sounding a bit mad! And today I have the pleasure of trying to understand some eek bits of international tax law, including vat. I've looked at it all twice and so far absolutely nothing has gone in. Not. A. Thing.
