One of the DJs in a pub/club is now armed with a list of decent trance/techno music DJs/performers, not the crap he was playing.

There was him rolling his eyes when I gave him a list, e.g. ERP/Convextion, Conforce, Tensnake, Tiger & Woods, Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Seb Fontaine, Plant43, Skudge etc. etc.

Yay, I'm still alive to tell the tale.

The laser light show was good in another pub/club.

Good to see you're on form, there, jra...

Melony finally appears to be going off to sleep - what she'll be like by Tuesday night God only knows!

Quite stormy here tonight. Hope everyone out there in Grumpyland is battened down tightly.

Many DJs work using just laptops these days, so I didn't want to confuse him about what a white label is (I have a few).

Poor LL. (((gentle hugs)))

I'm back home for the weekend then shooting off for a couple of days but back for Christmas. All the preparations are happening very much on the hoof!

Your certainly clocking the airmiles must feel like a spinning top, hopefully everything will settle down soon, thanks for the hug. I see Snowy has a sore brain not sure if its the scrabble or the festive cheer, hope everyone is well and ready for the onslaught that is Christmas. lol
Ps Happy Birthday Jessika

Poor Laura - really hope you feel better soon! ~~~~~>>>> vibes

Our kitties - aka The Stampede - are being kept well awasy from our tree as they'd have it destroyed in seconds. They-re out most of the day now (they have a shlter for when it's wet and are in overnight) and are enjoying exploring the gardens and eating mice. Sid brings them back to show us then scrunches them up in the kitchen and I have to wipe up the gore-splat... (need the rolleyes smilie here but he's gone!)

There's a TV programme called that on Quest, but yet to involve cats AFAIK.

jra computer could not get so will wait until after Christmas
Sounds like a plan.

My house looks like a spaceship inside with all the flashing lights. One string of flashing blue lights has 200 LEDs alone. There's a static string of blue lights, a flashing string of multicoloured lights, a flashing string of white lights and a static string of multicoloured lights.

No outside decorations here. That's a step too far for me!

Happy Christmas and New Year to everybody. Good vibes, happy birthday etc.

The worst thing for me is if I get up in the night for a wee - I've walked into a wall a couple of times now because I didn't know where I was.

snOwy - best way to avoid hangovers is never sobering up!

jra - your lights sound fab.

It never rains, but it pours and I mean literally.

The wind was so strong around here, it blew over a pane of double glazing window stored upright against the fence in the back garden.

A tenant has just moved out, due the unfortunate passing away of his grandfather. Then another tenant arrives and says there is no hot water in his shower, plus the window incident above. After switching off the whole electricity supply to the entire house and resetting a trip switch, everything seems to be OK.

So, after ordering a taxi for the leaving tenant, I'm out the back clearing up broken glass wearing goggles, leather gloves smashing this window (in order to get rid of the remaining glass) and I and this tenant are in the torrential rain.

Plus, I've been on the phone most of the day talking to various people.

Tomorrow, I'm going to get pissed, provided the person serving me is able to serve alcohol. It's the only thing to do, but I might change my mind and do a bit of posting in Islam/Muslim threads for a laugh. I'll be armed with a packet of sausages, like garlic is to a vampire. The trouble is I won't tell them they are beef sausages.

You're very naughty!

Another day of manic activity here before I can join you for that drink jra. But come about 6pm I'll be back home, with only the prezzie wrapping to worry about, large glass of PG in hand. I'm counting the hours.

I know. I think I did go on a bit of a mission in the M&S (GD) thread.

KJ, don't be cryptic, you've got snOwy all worried!

Here, it's looking scarily close to being ready - except for the pile of random cr@p that lives at the back of the kitchen table and the flthy kitchen floor where The Stampede have been running in and out. I'm going to deal with those first thing in the morning and the kitties are Banished for the day to the utility room and the garden.
Mr M and I still have to wrap presents to each other, but that's all. Hooray!

Merry Christmas to all!

I'm getting nicely sozzled right now.

I thought about going out, but then thought **** it. It'll just be more of the same. New Years Eve is a better bet for meeting the piss heads and scantily clad women.

So, get drunk, annoy people on DS and everybody is a winner.

Of course, I can always troll KJ (sed with love).
