He's a good lad, but he's just come in absolutely wrecked. He couldn't even shut his room door without me giving him a helping hand.

I'm amazed he didn't fall down the stairs taking the Christmas lights with him.

We've got the last of the festive season social thingies to go to tonight... but have no energy. And we keep changing our minds about cancelling... It's quite a big party so our absence wouldn't be too noticeable, but we haven't seen the hosts in ages so it would be good to catch up...

If only all problems were this enormous, right.

Handy ... feeding Melony sprouts is akin to cruelty - they are the work of the devil. Having grown to like broccoli which was also formerly known as "devils work" I tried sprouts again thinking that clearly my taste buds have changed - not that much they haven't - yuk! Never again. Not ever. No. NO.

My little smiley face went out on my Sky hub. No dial tone from the land line either. Dead as a dodo. It seems to be fixed now, and presumably was a serious problem, as I didn't report it. I wonder what caused that, as it isn't windy around here at the moment.
