I hate shoe shopping. I have a pair of thongs (shhhh no rudeness here, flip-flops), a pair of trainers and a pair of fancy-pants pretty shoes for going out in .... that never get worn because I never go anyway Shoe shopping has always made me grumpy - even as an adult my mum would go and buy my shoes, her feet were almost the same size as mine, so if they pinched her slightly, then she knew they would fit me, it earned her some funny looks from sales assistants as she would say "oh yes, they're pinching a bit, I'll have these please".

Life is plodding along here.

How you ladies manage to walk in a straight line with high heels is beyond me.

I can't walk in a straight line even with flats, whatever is my disposition.

I am Exceedingly Grumpy. And not because some wally rammed my car yesterday, but because some idiot considers it his business to police what has been said on the matter on a certain social networking site.

Some people were born with a sense of humour bypass

And there I was expecting you to say HMRC

I am full of the joy of one who has submitted her tax return. Oh Yes. Likely to celebrate by going to Sainsbury's for lunch... we know how to party here

Thanks Sad. It was on my To Do list but I've been making a conscious effort to avoid looking at it.

I've tried quite a few things in life, but high heels isn't one of them. Not yet, anyway.

Oh hang on. There was the naughty schoolgirl do at University, where I dressed up as a female hockey player, complete with stick, but that was a very long time ago. Some ladies lent me the kit and all that.

Tax returns. I haven't done my return yet. I always like to time it to be submitted at 23:59 on Jan 31st, just to be sure it gets there on time.

It's just taken Mr M and I two hours in the back garden to build a shelter for our Stampede to go in when it rains.
I'm freezing!!!!
They'd better use it, that's all I'm saying!

Yes, my PC does have a clock I can look at.

Spoiler
Sorry snowy. I'm feeling in a bit of an arsey mood today. At the moment, as soon as you get one job fixed, another thing goes wrong.

In other news. I had my security outdoor light replaced yesterday during the day and after it was fitted, I couldn't get it to work properly when it was dark. It's possible the infra-red sensor is knackered (again). So, tomorrow I'll be taking it back for a replacement. So, I'll have to get the guy in to do the whole thing again. PITA.

I'm feeling lots better laura, mustn't grumble. I was scared at the time but seems like a storm in a teacup with hindsight.
