ETA. I guess if I were a woman, I could put some make up on it. I don't even know what it is called, off the top of my head. Blusher?

I'm doing both. Have resigned from my role as piggy in the middle between father and daughter and told them to get on with it while I spend the day at my mate's pottery studio.


Concealer or you could wear an eye patch and pretend you thought it was fancy dress??

I am drinking pear cider out of a mug. Our kitchen is in a skip. I tried growing a beard this past fortnight but I looked like a wino. That is all.

KJ did LOL, I am in a grump from H£LL but best not say nothing apart from grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, something in the water or the weather no idea why, pop in and out of thread but keep missing folk maybe just a well with my mood. Has MrsKJ designed the new kitchen? Bats Get Well soon, jra get to the party

I can certainly oblige! Boiler has packed up, I had the day off because British Gas were coming and they still haven't turned up. What's the point of paying for boiler cover? I'm still waiting, someone is supposed to be on their way but I'm giving up hope. I just want a shower and put my pjs on! Pretty fuming actually!

The host of the party said afterwards, just when we were leaving, I'll fix you up with a woman, but you mustn't drink for the next three days. Can you tell she was a bit pissed. So, I locked her and her friend out of the house. One of my two other mates copped off with a big black woman. Good luck with that. I fixed them up though, as both of them weren't convinced they were going to see each other again, so I basically said cut the bullshit, sober up and see each other in the next couple of days. Overall, it was a good party though, only about 15 people. I hope 'they, as in the hosts' enjoy the bottle of wine I left behind. I'll try and get my mates to chip in for that, as they seem to be always skint. Tight buggers.

I did go out. Drank a fair bit of vodka, a bit of WKD, some red wine and had a bit of food. I found a black girl there rather attractive, but as her parents were there as well, I didn't make any advances. It's not worth pushing your luck. Age gap thing as well. There were some pretty pissed up people there last night. It took me all of 5 minutes to walk home. I do associate with some characters, I have to say. Welcome to Luton.

Actually, I probably come across as a right old soak on here but I've been very good of late. I might have a small PG tonight but it's been a while... Too busy.

Luckily we have an electric immersion heater for hot water, plus two oil- filled radiators, an electric convector and a big fan heater supplied by our heating engineer, who is a decent chap. Not his fault our boiler is ancient!

Also luckily it's been a warmish winter, so we have been okay. I shudder to think how much electrickery we've used, though!
