It's been ace My garden is all tidied and beautiful, my bulbs are all planted (even the ones I should have planted in December - figured might as well while I'm on a roll). And being outside all day is definitely good for the soul.

Bit pants that I have work tomorrow really

Batty, glad you're better.
Are you around over Easter? We could eat cake and bitch...”

Ooo, yes, we could definitely do that!

Is it the 10 year anniversary for us grumpies this... June? July? We definitely need to do cake for that too.

@handy: We replaced our gas fired warm air and immersion heater thingumabob today 'cos we were pushing our luck on spares, it was over 30 years old.

You're a year early, batty - just checked back and it's May 2015 is our 10th anniversary.

Still - we should still meet up this year, and we've got time to decide what we'll do for the sellybrayshuns.

Sounds good!

I need something cheerful to think about because I'm grrrrrrrumpy in the extreme.

I'm dealing with two organisations on a time sensitive issue. I have requested prompt responses, 3 times now in each case, and I'm getting bugger all back. So I'm fast passing through the catching more flies with honey mindset and I'm about to pick up the phone to have a couple of massive rants. But, knowing my luck, I won't be able to get hold the idiots responsible for the delays, and there's absolutely no point in trying to rant at some lovely person who just happens to answer the phone. I tried that the other day with the bank and ended up laughing with the lovely woman. Even as I was warning her that it probably wasn't her fault but I needed to sound off... well, I just knew my heart wasn't going to be in it.

Pants.

I was getting worried about you for a minute.

Today I have stuffed my face three times, bacon, burger, pizza, and I don't care.

If I remember right handy, you stocked up on Lush products not so long ago. Time for a very long Lushy bath with lots of hot water, thanks to the new boiler?

Here, I'm cracking on at quite a pace and might even finish by lunchtime... which would mean a cinema afternoon as the boy is gracing us with his presence this weekend. I fancy some action nonsense, and a very large ice-cream.
