Thanks Joni but for once, it wasn't work related - I wish it was. Just a family member who thinks that pushing my buttons is a clever thing to do (it's not). Someone has clearly never learnt that biting the hand that feeds you is stupid in the extreme. Am just bloody cross.

Pales into insignificance currently though - my thoughts are with Snowy, who deserves all the love in the world right now xx
They are a total divvy then. Family can hurt far more than anyone else as it's not easy to discard them. There's also the whole 'taking sides' that can inevitably happen in these situations.

I agree about Snowy, it's all relative though (aargh--- hope that doesn't look like a pun *shame faced*) and I'm sure she'd be the first to say that your problems still exist.

I think I'm still in shock re Snowy, it's hard for me to know what to say as I don't post in here. I'm just really shocked and upset for her.

We all are, Joni, and thanks for taking the trouble to stop by and say something.
Snowbes is one of the nicest people on the forum and it just seems so unfair.

Sad, hope it all blows over okay. I'm guessing its the usual suspect we're talking about...? Anyway, some people just don't learn!

I've just found out tonight that another internet mate, who doesn't post on DS but who I've known for knocking on ten years through another forum has had her husband walk out on her after thirty years of marriage. No reason given, he's just not happy apparently. Won't tell her where he's living, isn't paying any maintenance, just went out in the car ostensibly to take a load of stuff to the tip and never came back.
W@nker!!!!! I'm so furious with him!!!!! It's a bloody good job they live a long way away from me or I'd track him down and clout him one with a hammer. Really! Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Anyway - any spare vibes you have left, she could do with a few.

Hugs to GoWs, special hugs for snowy. (((((((((( skweeze)))))))))

Vibes to everyone in need. Life can be very tough sometimes.

I'm home, though, so although I got back to some bad news too, at least I feel like I can close the door on the world and get some rest, before it all starts again next week.

I'm packing my suitcase on Monday night and not back until late on Friday.

I'd love a proper catch up though, so I'll PM you some dates soon, to see what's possible. I'd love to see young melon too.

I forgot to mention there was a fire here last night, but put out by a fire extinguisher, so no major damage done (in fact minor damage). So, in I walk and everything is looking like there is a light dusting of snow. Nobody died and just goes to show how important it is to have buildings insurance, particularly as I only renewed my policy 5 days ago.

I had to take Melony out to a birthday party at t'village hall - no wearing jammies for that!

Watched Frozen on DVD when we got back... It was very good, and I think I get why it's been so massive, but not my fave animated film by a long shot. Wall -E made me cry more, Ice Age films are funnier... comparing like with like I prefer Tangled to Frozen. But Melony adores it, so...

Cricket at the Oval in London called off yesterday. So, instead of going to see the match live, we chilled out at a local pub for a few hours and then went home.

And I caught up on masses of work yesterday. Not ideal, but I'm dealing with a business, my own domestic stuff, and the lives and business interests of three other people, and half of it all is in another country. I feel like even cutting myself in two wouldn't be enough!

Still, we're off to the woods today, for a long walk, before we set off again... Bit of time for just us bats.

Got a mate visiting today on a whistle-stop tour from NZ. We were best mates all through school and she emigrated in 1985 -this is only the fourth time I've seen her since

I will get over there one day...

Then it's back on the hamster wheel - quite literally - taking the youngest back to uni (she doesn't want to go) before sorting out all the stuff I need for work next week too.

BG - think how boring life would be if it was ordinary (((((Bats)))))

Sending warm bank holiday vibes to all of you especially those in more need than most
