Laura, do you have a Kindle or iPad? This may sound daft but what really bugs me about insomnia is the thoughts rattling round my head, so with the Kindle I can find something to watch on iPlayer, or listen to on Internet radio,or just read without needing the light on. After a while you feel sleepy, but if you don't at least you did something with the time.

hope you're asleep tonight, Laura.

KJ, big up for Palace!
Hoping the Tigers have done enough to stay out of the mire.

Why am I still awake, FFS?

5-ish hours sleep in the end, not bad!

The mind-set I'm going for here is housework = calories burned... if i do enough tidying up I can have a cake afterwards...

You're on 37 points, all the bottom 3 are on 37 games with 1 game left and none has more than 33 points so you are safe.

We're just deciding who wins the Premier League tomorrow evening.

Mr M went through the maths with me earlier today, so am relieved on that score.
Could still be pretty ignominious, though - we could end the season by losing to Arsenal in the cup, then being stuffed by Man U and Everton. Joy unconfined!

Thank you for the smiley.

Morning!

This coming week I'm staying in 3 different places in the UK, and then I'm on a plane on Monday, I think.

I need a holiday.

Evening all

I'm tired - so very very tired. I need a holiday. or just time off. I haven't had any time off since I started work 2.5 years ago. Apparently now although I am entitled to paid leave, the earliest I am allowed to take it is end of November I think, at which point I'm not allowed to take it because the xmas run up holiday embargo starts. It's all academic really anyway, as I couldn't afford time off anyway. Maybe next year *sighs*

DestructoPup is completely losing her marbles over the geckos. She has now taken to dancing around on her hind legs growling "ehhhh roo raaaaahhh" in a menacing manner whilst wagging her tail nineteen to the dozen. She seems to be having a whale of a time though. We've also discovered that she has springs in her legs as she's also taken to jumping on to a spare washing machine which is outside in order to try and get to those demon geckos. At least it gives her something to think about in her tiny pea brain.

No news re school place for YoungPlum, but we don't expect to hear til the end of this term, so another 8 weeks or so.

Eeeeep - the timer went off on the cooker, so my chicken is cooked, but I haven't done anything to go with it, I've been too busy checking emails and wibbling at you lot - I better go! I shall be back!

Afternoon peeps.

Nice day today. Very little going on.

Time to take out the camera again later. Maybe, I'll find something interesting in the bushes again. See the GD reprobates thread, also in Chatter.

It didn't happen, as in taking the camera out for a walk. Plans changed. Maybe going pubbing again later.

Evening, folks!
Today kind of meandered about aimlessly but was pleasant - went to the park with Melony and Mr M this aft and generally pottered about.

Big hugs to busy Plum and busy bat, and a cuddle for snowy (((((((cuddle cuddle cuddle))))))))

Oh, and a BOOYAH! to KJ, though Mr M was sort of hoping the Reds might nick it this year...
