We've been having a very jolly time since Batman arrived. One of the highlights was seeing The Expendables in 4DX. We spent more time laughing at being thrown around and the smoke and water effects than watching the film (which is utter shite).

It was, but only when filed under 'an experience'.

Tonight's viewing was Chef in a tiny screen in the Palace of Culture. The lights stayed on after the film started so Batman took it upon himself to go off and find some switches somewhere to fiddle with. Got the lights off and a round of applause on his return. Cool dude.

I see that thread has been padlocked. Not sure why.

As for my comments about some Polish people. No offence intended. It's just how some of them are around here. Maybe it's a local thing.

No worries at all. In fact I completely agree with you on the language thing.

Anyway, I'm back! Knackered but happy because I've just found out it's a bank holiday (it is, isn't it?) and this means - fingers crossed - that I can put my feet up for a couple of days.

I noticed I'd put my tshirt on backwards this morning. Later I went to the toilet and I discovered my pants were on backwards too (which is a bigger deal for blokes standing up than most of you might realise, being ladies). This stuff happens in threes!

It's a good job you don't wear a bra KJ.

Pictures to be published soon.

I can install dual boot on a PC blindfolded with one arm tied behind my back, but ask me to remove a bra and you're on your own.

Morning all. I have a fairly free Friday in front of me and feel quite giddy with excitement. I could clean the house, or sit in the garden and read, or go food shopping for the weekend... Choices choices...

Hello, you lovely lot.
Your posts have made me giggle

All is well here in Melon Towers; Mr M will has a sore toe with a big dressing on it but the giant bandage is gone and he can wear slippers and have showers with a cast protector on.

I have to start getting back into work mode next week - haircut, new uniform for Melony, dust off the schemes of work...
Still, it's only 3 days a week, so I've had worse!

Hugs!

For once I have something positive to say about HSBC. I mislaid a debit card and reported it as lost/stolen yesterday. The new card arrived through my letter box this morning, even though I was told it would take 3-5 working days, i.e. at the earliest next Tues.

Thank you snOwy. And the same to you.

I'd quite like the summer back, though. It's a nice enough autumn weekend we're having but it's August!!!

*waves feebly* About to go away for a week, haven't packed, have spent lots of time trying to get a new laptop to play nicely. Now it won't print.

I am fedded up.

No thread notifications either so just had a quick re-read and am trying not to ask why jra would be removing Batty's bra...
