![]() I iz bak 2 stay! til next time I go walkabout .... that's it you see it seems I have integrated too well into Australia and I now get the urge to go walkabout ... mentally if not physically ![]() I've got to find something to do today otherwise I'm going to spend all day watching the clock til I have to go to work for 3pm. Young Plum who claims she is always up early would appear to be still sound asleep at 10 - methinks she was exaggerating, quelle surprise! Laura - hope you get some sleep! I hate it when I can't sleep. |

I did the nightmare thing a while ago - it was awful. Fortunately that appears to have stopped. The other night I had a totally awesome dream about doing a bank robbery. It was extremely bizarre and all went very smoothly and the customers in the bank didn't even seem to notice my truck driving into the bank, they just carried on queue-ing - they must have been British, we know how to queue!
Here it's after 2 a.m and I'm wide awake and buzzing around like a buzzy-bee on speed - that's the trouble with working til midnight, it takes me ages to wind down. Luckily it's my weekend off so I refuse to get up early - YoungPlum is on duty to get DP up and feed her - she was this morning too but fortunately I got up early and did it as she didn't emerge from her pit til gone noon ![]() Hope you all have a great day.

- hmmmmm is that why she makes me feel like I'm going down the toilet? ) - so I told her that it's her somewhat aggressive tone when she asks makes it seem as if she is blaming me. Anyway, after a bit of a discussion, all is good (for now). I'm still going job hunting but might leave it til after the house hunt, as the first could affect the second. I'm so so tired - I was still wide awake just before 4 am, no idea what time I finally went to sleep. Every second week I have to do this shift on a mid-week day so I'd have to get up for 6.30 to get YoungPlum ready for school and then go to work. That's really going to work out well! Gosh, I'm really getting into this Grumpy thing, aren't I - moan moan moan

Oh man! Well that had me reaching for the tissues, finding I had none and having to reach for the toilet roll instead and you know what, that involved me having to walk to another room - oh the efforts I'll go to on your account! You're awesomely lovely even if you do unashamedly support Palace - I assume that is a symptom I suppose some (you) might say that sheer lunacy accounts for my love of the Mighty Blues ![]() It's my day off today before I launch into a 48 hour week and I have no inclination to do anything. YoungPlum is just as bad and is being a hermit, actually she is way worse as she has hardly been out for days. I've go to go and buy a broom (no, I'm not a witch ) to sweep up the mess Destructo's Apprentice has made - he likes to shred trees and bushes as well as trail bikes. His owner came home late last night and I thought I'd better clear up his latest crime before she gets home from work and we don't seem to have a broom and i don't like to use her garden blower thingo without asking. It's hot hot hot today although not as hot as it was over Christmas, so that's something! Hope you all sleep well.

Hello Plum
Take it easy before the 48 hour week, hope it goes fast and your not too tired at the end of the shift. KJ needs some special grumpies hugs and vibes at present so I put the call out the shed won't run smoothly without KJeeves looking after us all and keeping the cupboards and fire well stocked, send us some of your warm sunshine then maybe just maybe we won't need the blankets as well as the fire. Love to Little Plum |
