Oh plummie - I hope you find somewhere lovely and that you end up enjoying having a place to call your own.

LL - wassup? Not often that you growl at us

Today I am mostly trying to get used to bifocals. Please feel free to extract the urine. It's a good job you can't see the daft angle I am holding my head at in order to read my pc screen

haha - I'll see your bi-focals and raise you vari-focals - I've had them for years now and never really had a problem apart from with a pair of sunnies which must have been adjusted wrong as they make me seasick when I wear them It feels like I have no concept of where the ground is - most disconcerting!

I return from the depths of MIA with grovelling apologies for being a bad GOW and an application form for joining the Varifocals Group.

Sad, I got mine this time last year and I totally know what you mean!
It gets easier, though!

Plummie, good luck with the hunt! Sending house-finding vibes your way. So good to hear that not-so-little Plum is loving high-school

Hugs and Happy Springtime to everyone - there are lambs in the field by the level crossing here, so being stuck waiting for the train is an absolute pleasure at the moment. Baaaaa!

Can I join the Varifocals Group I need a new pair but love not having to keep changing glasses everytime I want to do stuff they where funny at first when stepping of the kerb I felt like Neil Armstrong taking great big strides cause I wasn't sure where if finished when i looked down but soon got use to them thankfully. Still not sleeping given it up as a bad joke I will crash and burn one day,

Plum how lovely to see you sorry about your move but sending good houses hunting vibes that you find somewhere sooner rather than later.

Hope everyone else is good we keep missing one another.

I wore contact lenses once - literally once! Couldn't get the bloody things in or indeed out once they were in ... tried for days and just ended up with red sore eyes lol. Loved it the day I worse them though - I could see! Without glasses! What a wonderful thing

I've had a crappy couple of days at work - and it's my weekend to work too so it looks set to be a crappy weekend. On the plus side, for there is always a plus side ...... I just haven't worked out yet what it is, other than a lame, at least I have a job!

I keep missing posts until after I've posted. (((((Grumpy shortsighted grumpers)))))

I've also just worked out that the lovely yoghurt coated sunflower seeds I bulk bought the other day to snack on as a healthy alternative to chocolate (admittedly didn't envisage scoffing 800g of them in three days) work out to around 5,000 calories.

Morning all! Hi Amica!!

Absolutely the pissiest of days here, so it's shaping up to be a very lazy Sunday.

We were going to have a day out today, then looked at the weather forecast and changed our minds. Been vegging all day but am going to venture out with Melony for a quick walk to blow the cobwebs away otherwise she won't sleep.

Sneaky extra day off tomorrow as my school has a training day and my boss said I didn't have to go. Woot woot! Bad news is I won't get paid for the day as it's a supply day, but still - I can live with a three-day week!

Sunday hugs and slices of cake all round! ((((((GoWs))))))
