Healing vibes for the Loonies are on a loop. What happened to your OH Laura?
Take care of yourself. Glad you enjoyed the concert Snowy. It's still very windy here interspersed with thunder storms and heavy rain. I stayed in the house all day keeping busy doing a bit of this and a bit of that and the day passed very quickly. So that's Hump Day over with. |

So sorry to hear your news LL.
Lots of healing vibes on the way. Here, I'm looking forward to having lunch with a couple of friends I haven't seen in a while, and trying not to feel too guilty for taking half the day off, when I have lots of things that need dealing with piling up. The problem is that's always the case - I spent most of last year thinking I'll just deal with this and then I can have a break, but as soon as 'this' was dealt with something else popped up. But I saw my doctor yesterday and she gave me a very stern talking to, and that's because the BP has come down loads. She said it's blindingly obvious I can do something about it, given the massive drop in numbers already, so to think on... She's absolutely right, but putting things aside and saying no is just so alien when the mindset has been the complete opposite for such a long time. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about! When someone says put yourself first, it's almost like they're talking in a foreign language.

Glad you enjoyed Simple Minds Snowy. Right off back to bed check email thats enough for this evening. love to all Anyway came into say so sorry hope Mr L has nothing serious and he can look after you when he gets home otherwise you CANNOT look after him so you need help. Wish I lived nearer . I do mean juices and I can clean toilets if I have to Get well soon to both of you xxToe op is scheduled for next Thursday at 4.30. To say am terrified doesn't cover it . She says she will have to work very quickly as I have COPD and the oxygen probably won't get to my toes as well as other people . I hope she lets the freezing and injections take first . And, my mother's church has stepped up to the plate with lifts and help with mum . I feel a bit guilty as don't do church but mum is a very valued member there so I suppose I should just be grateful All being well we collect the cats on Saturday which in a way works out as having a house full Friday night. They getting a carry out chinese and the minimum of housework done....wonders how long I can play on this toe malarkey ![]() Hope you have all voted the correct person for you. Sheesh who knows IMO they are all a shower of liars and hypocrites Glad BP coming down Bats, I think medical profession has changed since my diagnose. Instead of just dishing out the pills they try and resolve it in other ways. Would it be too cynical to suggest that this is cost saving ![]() Sending healing vibes to those that need them and hugs for all others x |

Hugs and healing vibes ~~~~~~~
TFI Friday (nearly) Mega p****ed off about matters at work where people keep dropping their "Omg this is going to happen but I shouldn't be saying - it's confidential" bombs on me. Some with massive implications for my job(as well as other peoples') - and I'm supposed to keep it to myself. Think I may explode soon... The play is slowly improving but is incredibly stressful. Sourcing the right costumes takes hours. I daren't have wine on a school night as I won't be able to stop. But I feel sh*t moaning when there are people who are proper poorly so I will get a grip and send more vibes ~~~~~~~ Looking forward to that Friday feeling... |

Looking forward to the kitty pics Twingle. FYI on FB out of snowy and I - I am the one with the silly name
![]() Been stupidly busy and need to slow down. Batty - your doc has a point. Friend of mine has just been put on meds for life to regulate her BP. She's another one who never learnt to say No. I will if you will ![]() me@ - I can indeed vouch for the Bat being a stressed out nomad rather than a jetsetter. It's just the way she tells them that makes it sound fun. And only the Bat can flirt with scary arse policemen in a stony stairwell and get away with it ![]() LL - so sorry to hear your news. I hope things pick up soon and the vibes being sent your way do their stuff as always. It took me a while to work out wtf was happening on FB but I have now accepted a friend request ![]() Everyone else - I'm not mentioning politics in front of any of you lot ever again I could rant on for hours about my reasons for my personal beliefs and views but what it boils down to is - I am an eternal optimist and I hope you're all wrong, that's about it.

They are home but hiding under the wardrobe Well that was their first bee line then when I next looked , thought had lost them !! They are now under the chair bed which wouldn't have thought possible to get under! But they did eat cat biscs en route and now have scattered some biscs under bed and will leave them. Mum is being a petulant child as all she wants is to pick them up and nurse them and told her she can't at moment and thinks am just not letting her coz I want them all for myself . Sheesh!!
Oh my wonky home made pots maybe aren't as bad as I thought. Had friends round last night and they have commissioned me to make them a bowl each . Trouble is never yet managed to replicate something I have made . It's all a bit hit and miss as I still don't know what am doing ![]() ![]() Sun is out and hope all is well in Gowland xx |

hello all
Life is being a bit of a pain in th'arse at the moment and i'm not liking it. However, I'm going with my ostrich policy and am going to ignore the bits that don't fit in with my wish to live an idyllic lifestyle.... so that's pretty much all my life on ignore. I live in a vacuum - and if it's going to be a vacuum, I'd like it be a Dyson. I miss my Dyson ... oh dammit ... i'm going to have to ignore that thought too as it doesn't fit in with my .... etc. etc.... *sighs* Pretty much left myself nothing to write about.... the weather is beautiful! I love winter! Days around 28c and the nights around 18/19c - awesome! hmmmmm - strangely short post. I might take my head out the sand next time I visit ... but if it proves dangerous or even slighly unpleasant, I'm diving back in there! I know this article has no relevance to you as it's an "analysis" of our budget from yesterday, but it did make me laugh ... this sort of thing is part of what I love about being here. Hope you are all taking good care of yourselves .. special extra hugs to Laura and twingle's toe |

Dear Grumpies,
It's been a rough old time in GOWland at the moment. So many of you are going through the wars at the moment. My healing vibes are going out to all those who need them.Same old same old here. Just putting one foot in front of the other and trying to make my immediate world a cleaner, prettier place. I'm grateful for physically being able to do that at the moment and that the weather's been pretty good on the the whole so even less pain. ![]() xx |
