Oh thank you but I shall now leave well alone.
Blokes are weird creatures from a girly PoV when we go all unemotional and point at objective facts, but dammit you are in the right and science backs you up. Feel good about yourself.

DM quote:

GMTV presenter Lorraine Kelly said: 'Television makes you look a stone heavier. I have been dieting since I was 16.'

What they said, Twing. Hugs.

Hooray for Sad dog.

I'm still sat here typing and with limited speech though I think I might risk tomorrow. Play is just over a week away and I need to rehearse those sproglets.

Yay for feeling better sad dog! *happidance*

Amica, be careful about overdoing it or you'll just make it worse!

Twingle, your "friend" is behaving like an adolescent schoolgirl, not a grown woman! It was an honest brick, we've all dropped them. She needs to seriously get over herself!

Here I have had a doolally day - smashed a big plant pot with my car trying to back out down the drive at a funny angle this morning, then when I came to drive home after school my ignition was jammed and I had to get the caretaker to spray inside the lock with WD 40.

Cancelled youth club, came home, ate chocolate, repotted plant!

Hugs all round!

Sounds like an excellent outcome.

I'd quite like one of those too. This week has flown by and I've only managed a fraction of what I should've done. I'm so unprepared for a meeting next week I'll probably have to take paperwork onto the plane, to try and catch up a bit. This thought is making me Very Grumpy.

But the sun is shining and seeing as I have to go out on the bike it might as well be now.

Blimey, batty! That *is* super-early!
And laura too.

We've had a bits and pieces sort of a day but I'm gradually making headway with the decluttering (a bit at a time) and we've mostly stayed the right side of grumpy, so it could be worse...

Hugs all round!

Sounds fab Snowy...

Here, my morning started at 7am with Mr Sad yelling at me because the dog had escaped.

Yes, you read that right... someone hadn't shut the front door properly last night and at some point Sad dog decided to take himself off for a walk.

Major panic ensued; I was to be found at about ten past seven in a field in my pyjamas and slippers with a cardie on peering at a sheep and wondering why it wasn't barking....

Next time (god forbid) I'll take my glasses...

Anyway I then had the bright idea of putting a post on our village community facebook page and within five minutes someone had reported a sighting of the wanderer. Cannot explain the relief - that bloody animal really does have nine lives. Let's not forget this is the dog who as a pup ate his way through every chewable part of the washing machine, demolished a brand new carpet within 24 hours of it being laid, and then worked his way through a tasty packet of diclofenac which he pinched from my handbag.

We'd removed his collar recently as it seemed to be irritating him but I put it back on him when we got him home this morning.

Pets. Can't live with them, can't live without them....

For a bit. Had another early start this morning but hopefully the coming week will be much nicer for it.
