Hell yeah! Tell me when...
Next time might be around all saint's day - 1st of November. It really sounds bonkers but it's worth visiting for the cemeteries. The Poles light zillions of candles on graves and the effect is stunning. And a bit spooky. But in a nice way.

LL, shame we can't sign you up for batty travels. Mind you, if I get better at sticking stuff up on facebook you might be glad.

twingle - what the others have said. It's not like you kicked her puppy. She really needs to get over it and if she can't then she's not chosen the best career for herself.

Sad - the 'very smart' thing is slightly terrifying me too. We'll just have to style it out.

handy's been quiet since she ventured outside...

And yes, where is Plummy? I'm dying to know how the move went.

I would love to sign up to for Bat's tourist trip but like you will have to watch pictures and videos

I once worked with a Polish girl who was marrying a scot ( a knob head in my opinion ) and was invited to the wedding . A three day event in a castle all food and drink paid for the whole three days!! . I always regret not going and can't even remember why I didn't although it could be as a divorcee I bloody hate weddings . And I was right he was a knob head and they separated not long after.

I was also invited to an Israeli wedding with free accommodation on a kibbutz but again didn't go and also a Spanish wedding (she was my au pair when I was at uni) and again I didn't go . What an idiot I was back then . All those missed opportunities . I know the Israeli one was because Dan was too young to leave and the Spanish one was because I didn't know anyone except the bride SHEESH!

Oh and the Israeli wedding was a daughter of a very close friend of mine who sadly died about 10 yrs ago. The husband put me in a very awkward position at her funeral. I went over to talk to him and was kneeling beside him as there were no seats when he pulled me onto his knee. I genuinely don't think he was thinking straight but the daughter (the Israeli bride) was killing me with her looks I got off that knee as fast as I could without causing any trouble. Never spoken to me since

Sorry am wittering :

It's beautiful LL, there are some pics on FB somewhere I think.

Twing - never stop wittering. I love your wittering. It's like what goes on in my head every day although without the weddings.

The Polish wedding will be my first foreign wedding - I've led a sheltered life. Someone told me they start drinking in the morning and just keep going for about 24 hours

Only if one of us stays sober enough to hold a camera steady which, let's face it, is highly unlikely. But it could've been worse - if AC/DC hadn't sold out on the following night we would've been going to that too. I reckon the universe is looking out for us.

I'm in a weird position of having a fair bit to do but no actual scary deadlines, and I'm finding it very, very hard to motivate myself. So far today I've made an appointment with a dental hygienist, another one to get my hair done, arranged lunch with one friend and left a message with another to see if she fancies a cheeky PG one lunchtime, and I've gone shoe shopping and come back with a handbag I don't need (but it's very nice). I'm now going to take the bike out for a couple of hours and I might even sit in the garden for a bit when I get back. And what's really odd is that I feel slightly anxious, like I ought to be doing something...

Oh yes totally agree! But glad my poor father didn't have to fork out for me for an Indian wedding. 1,000 guests would have bankrupted him for sure

My only beef........they don't do puds like we do

Bats have you tried herbal for insomnia? I have a pillow spray from Avon (Lavender I think) and it may be psychological but it works for me but to be fair I only have a bad night about once a month

Hope everyone having a good day. Moi? I have stuck this bloody awful pissing it down almost every day for 6 yrs so thinking about moving to the coast . Prestwick has a micro climate and mum is in agreement . Just wonder if she too old for the upheaval . I have seen some lovey bungalows with flexible accommodation for us both and cats could get out with no motorway in front of house

Watch this space

Hello peeps. is it nearly Friday. Play went well but after 3 performances , I'm exhausted.

Prestwick sounds lovely. A move to a better climate can only be positive...

The candles graveyard sounds intriguing. Need to check next year's holiday dates.

Love to all.
