So sorry to hear Sad about your furbaby they are important memebrs of the family, with lovely memories to keep you going. Banana Cake sounds good but have to be Gluten Free for me

Head still spinning but hay ho still plodding so all good
Love and Hugs to grumpies mia and far and wide
Thanks LL I'm increasingly moving towards GF here as it happens. Not that my need is anywhere near as serious as yours but I do think it issue and have friends who suffer badly...

Big hugs xx

I'm still sending masses of virtual hugs Sad. xxx

Here, I have finished that thing I've been doing my best to avoid. It feels great. I should've done it sooner.

Just back from a fab fireworks display but I'm in shock - one house we passed had a Christmas tree up.

They were in, and I had to be restrained from knocking on their door to tell them to take it down immediately because it's far, far too early.

I might go back tomorrow and post a note through their letterbox...

Kidding.

Maybe.

Melony's BF's Mum has her tree up; she put it up at the start of November.
She's a lovely lass but i could cheerfully pick it up and whack her round the head with it!

Hadn't seen it so not sure what it was LL but wouldn't have taken offence, I never do unless people actually name me

So... Monday was manic. Looking forward to going into the office tomorrow for a rest

Exactly handy.

Having said that, I've been hitting the shops in downtown Warsaw and kind of enjoying the pretty Christmas lights and stuff, so I'm obviously some kind of hypocrite.

That aside, I'm knackered now and off to have a nice long bath with a glass of wine to make sure I really relax. Sad got me hooked on this lovely pink plonk they sell in our local shop so I thought I'd have that and a rose bath bomb. And a face pack. Girly or wot?

Here you go -

3-4 med bananas, mushed
1 med egg
100g sugar
100g baking marg/butter
Vanilla (a few drops)
1tsp bicarb soda dissolved in 3 tbsp milk
200g flour

Beat sugar and fat together; when creamy add egg, then throw on the flour and the rest of the ingredients and mix.

All into a greased/lined loaf tin, then into the oven 160degrees fan electric or equivalent, for 1 hour.

I vary the quantities and some are more successful than others – have also made with yoghurt instead of fat which was ok. Think you can also make without fat if you add more banana and another egg - so if you're off dairy it's still doable. Have fun!

Thank you Sad, they haven't said about dairy yet but going on the Coeliac site that will be the next step oh the joy cause I love cheese, just cross each bridge as I get there

That cake is ace.

My week is flying by! And I got asked out on a date. He was really nice too, but, sadly, I'm going out with a friend tonight. And I'm crazy about Batman.
