Grump. My lower back hurts.
Have you hurt your coccyx.

I trapped a spinal nerve when I was 18 and tbh it's troubled me ever since.

Mr M has a chronic lower back - yet another sign of he and KJ being cyberbrothers!

Actually mine was dicky yesterday; in my case it was back to work syndrome - a day of standing up directing choreography and leading review lessons. I seem to be getting my bendy abilities reinstated today, though, as I feel much better

KJ - have you got a proper chair and decent back support in your car? It's surprising how much wear and tear the old spine gets.

Batty - what an adventure!
I'm bursting to know the details - have you gone and left me Alone in the North?

good evening sNowY

and to any other lurking cyber chums

still awake today - but only just

Another fun day at the chalk face - while discussing words associated with senses

ear - sound - listen - hear
eyes- sight - stare -look etc

we finally get onto

nose - smell- sniff - sticky toffee pudding ( a lad after my own heart !)

Other than that - not much to report - although like Sad, I have succumbed to CBB. I have a soft spot for Rylan. So shoot me ( not really )

CBB is Celebrity Big Brother? Yes. Sorry for being a thick tard here. It's just I've rarely watched it.

good evening mes amis
Good evening to you too.

Majorly peed off here, as my headphone adaptor has gone pecks up and I can't hear music in high quality through my high end headphones.

I'm proud to say I've never seen a full episode of BB or CBB in any form.

Being Human starts again in February... woooooot! *happidance*

The first BB was very good, as it was an unknown quantity, so to speak, wasn't censored too much and not just there for wannabes.

*waves feebly from darn sarf*

It's been a long week but it's shot past. That made sense in my head

So, had some work this morning (yay) but no more now until Feb (boo) apart from little oddments here and there. Planning a trip to Turkey at the end of Feb, helping a friend to pack up a house - will be sad but has to be done. On the plus side it'll be an adventure and there are no little old ladies involved (otherwise I could see me getting a reputation )

I am still watching CBB but fixed doesn't even begin to describe last night's shenanigans. I haven't looked at the CBB forum... I suppose I should

Plums - please tell me you're nowhere near all the bush fires

jra - go you and your holidays Usual suspects? Or were you just bang out of order - not that one ever is, obviously

Handy - I think you'll find it easier to rendezvous with the Bat since her relocation, unless my geography is seriously lacking (and I did fail Geography O level).

Off to Comedy night tonight. Staying off the booze - am not sure I have recovered from the last one 6 weeks ago yet

I'm blaming loading and unloading the dishwasher and rinsing stuff in the sink before loading it. I'm dishwasher monitor in our house, you see.

It's cowgirls only for me at this rate. (Dream on KJ)

That's Mr Sad's job too And tonight he is making his speciality cauliflower cheese as I am up to my neck in emails - have been neglecting my pc for a few days, what with everything else - so I'd best get off here really

No, I wasn't bang out of order. But sometimes, you need to tell people as it is. Anyway, it wasn't a big deal really and considering I've been banned 5 times on DS, 2 days wasn't a bad result.

I guess sometimes, I just upset the applecart.

SnoWBes, you know I don't do hugs to excess, but (((you))).

He's living it large. He'll be back with a hangover and barfing bird bits on your duvet before you know it.

Well that started my day with a smirk!

You're a very naughty boy.
Well much as we like you jra, you're certainly not the messiah and that's a great relief!

hello

my Dennis is missing
Oh dear I hope he turns up soon - has he been gone long? Our old tomcat used to disappear for days at a time then come home looking a bit raggedy but thoroughly pleased with himself. Pets bring a lot of pleasure but some real worries too.

Sad, I'm nowhere near the bush fires thank goodness, we do get fires up here sometimes but not on the scale that they do down South. I'd find just the thought of it terrifying. You made me smile with your mention of your trip to Turkey and the possibility that you could gain a reputation if there had been an old lady involved again ... I can just imagine you going round relocating the elderly ... there probably could be a sinister twist and I'm fast becoming an elderly lady - eeeeeep!! Not there quite yet, but it's inevitable (hopefully)!

Life is plodding along here. DestructoPup has a new best friend but I'll write more of that later, for now, I'm meant to be getting ready for work, and ready to send YoungPlum off to the movies with a friend of hers.

Morning all

Snowy hope's he turned up by now..........you know what cats are like. Still not replaced mine from 3 yrs ago. Couldn't bear to go thro that again!

KJ I really did do my back on boxing day while emptying the dishwasher!! Not too badly but really hurt for a few days.......Had back trouble years ago and no one ever found out why and what (even had surgery and it wasn't the answer ) but it went after about a year! I guess is just wear and tear but can't complain when mother broke her back in a fall. I know she exagerrates everything but that is the truth but great excuse for getting out of anything.

Off toLes Mis tonight and after reading the independant review am wondering if I should cancel

Have a great day all

Have you tried places like the local animal rescue centre, RSPCA etc.

Your cat may just have got lost and is in care right now.
