Magic vibes are magic. One down - driving test passed. Thrilled beyond belief here and now crossing everything for the one to go - interview outcome - slightly on tenterhooks!!!

You're all lovely
Still no news so we think maybe the other candidate has first refusal - but no news could also be good news so hopefully on Monday she'll hear from them; though she's at work all day so not sure how she'll manage to take the call - if it comes.Out partying last night, somewhat the worse for wear today - not, surprisingly, due to a hangover but more due to having danced a bit harder than my body seems capable of enduring ![]() Hope all grumpies are having a peaceful Sunday... can you believe January is already nearly over? ![]() Amica - it will pass more quickly than you expect - if not, maybe bring the decision forward to half term... xxx |

![]() ![]() Oh joy the day just gets betterI've had a bit of a Grrrrrrr time too. My upstairs neighbour here is a bit of a prat and has acquired a second dog. After being asked politely to stop them barking at 3am, and the previous night to stop his funky music from keeping us awake at 1am, he decided to up the ante and had his dogs barking for most of yesterday evening and last night. Hours of it. When they stopped, he started barking himself. I think he was trying to make a point. ![]() The current state of play is that we're in a fab hotel until the end of the week and the neighbour will be getting the bill and a letter from my solicitor. It's legal action after that if he doesn't settle down, and if for some bizarre reason I lose, my fall back plan is to get some really powerful speakers connected up to the ceiling, whack up the volume, leave, and choose what he'll be listening to through the nights from the comfort of my sofa in the UK. Gotta love the internets. And the really funny thing is that I've left the lights on in my flat to make him think I'm in and he's probably barking right now trying to annoy me. I can be such a cow when provoked.

Thank you darling. The pratty neighbour's done us a bit of a favour, inadvertently. We're having much more fun than we would have had at my place.
