Or I should say that I was at Woodstock and they were there, too.
BG I like your style of handling the noisy neighbour. But my question is why are the dogs barking at 3 am in the first place? He sounds like a real nutjob so be careful!
Laura: I hope that you're finally getting some sleep and feeling better.”
The dogs bark when he comes home, and he often gets back late. More often than not I just let it go, but it's been getting worse so I hoped a polite word might do it, thinking that perhaps he didn't realise how loud he was being, but yes, he's obviously as you say, a bit nuts. So when he started barking (he has a wife and she was howling

) and the dogs joined in and went on for ages to try and provoke us, we thought nah, let's leave them to carry on like dicks and have a good time elsewhere. And we did.
And as luck would have it, I popped back to get some stuff and bumped into one of the women who works for the administration of the building. I know her quite well now so told her about it and she doesn't mess about so they're getting an official letter from her to behave or else. Unfortunately she can only enforce quiet between 10pm and 6am, but that's a start, and there's civil law for if they carry on misbehaving outside of those times.
So I'm putting the solicitor on hold for now to see what happens but he's ready to go if need be.

It'll get sorted but it's such a shame to come across people like that, who don't give a flying one about others. On the other hand there is a certain satisfaction in knowing I have the means to see them in court.
Anyway, we're back home now and having a major slob out.
LL - how horrible for you. Good luck for tomorrow.
