Same here. I keep having these wild fantasies about having no responsibilities and doing exactly what I want.

*waves to KJ*

Not much to report from the batcave. Just glad that it's Friday.

It's been very lonely being all alone in the retirees'/pensioners' club (except for twingle occasionally) so will welcome KJ and Snowy with open arms. Yay I have company to be old with.

She's definitely not here.

She wasn't here either. She needs tracking down.

Half term and am fed up. Need a kick up the proverbial. Did most of my planning and assessment yesterday as my car is poorly. Just been picked up to be fixed.

In four weeks time I have to fill in some paperwork to track the progress of some children against some criteria that are not explicit on our data. The stuff I downloaded from elsewhere to help me as I am feeling clueless shows that most of the children are failing. The criteria on that assessment stuff is much harder and the goal posts have moved. How can this new expected level be called that when most won't get it? Most are emerging. From what I am unsure but a pile of sh... seems about right. These children are brighter than my last lot. Heaven help them.
I daren't look at the maths.
As for the new grammar. I have lived my whole life so far being unable to identify a determiner and I have done alright. My kindle does not know what one is either. I had to add it to the dictionary. Nor did I know the subjunctive mood. If only I were more intelligent I might be able to see the point...lol

I am going to be one of those leaving teaching. It's only a matter of time.
