Any cake will do lol. Think we have had every kind of weather here today except wind. It's may at the end of the week. What is going on?

Just waiting for the OH to get back so that we can watch Game of Thrones. This is the first time I will have watched it without knowing what's coming next. I hope I still like it without my favourite crow.

I've got cake!

This is it

It's a weird concoction of poppy seed, orange and cream. Yup, I'm in Warsaw. And it's been peeing down all day, after glorious sunshine yesterday and more glorious sunshine forecast tomorrow. April, innit.

Anyway, the cake is odd but fab and yesterday I had this. It's like a little apple pie.

I love cake.

However I did cycle for miles down by the river and Fitbit says I've done over 15,000 steps today so these are zero calorie cakes.

I've eaten what feels like my own weight in profiteroles tonight after a very filling dinner. Can barely move. Even so that cake looks lush.... *sigh*

Had a lovely catch up with my old work colleague and yep, still think I made the right decision four years ago, so that's good

After 2 weeks of almost unmitigated misery at work I now have 4 days off! My weekend off, then we're closed Monday as it's Labour Day here and then Tuesday is my normal rostered day off - so that's awesome! No money to do anything, no fuel to even go anywhere so I'm going to hibernate and watch movies and if we run out of food I'll eat the animals .... then Hannah I will survive!

Seriously though, I have a few DVDs that I've not watched and a small pile of unread books so all is well in my world and I shall have a whale of a time!

The Demento twin's new trick is to cling on to the brush when I'm sweeping so they get a free ride - they're mentally not quite right - they fit in well here! We were playing football with them at bed time the night before last - I'd been up since 3am and yet still found myself dragged into a game with them at 10pm when I should have been sleeping.

Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend! I want cake!

I'm home.

For almost 3 whole days.

And the sun is still shining!!!

Let's all have a grump-free weekend, full of cake and plonk...

I might have to stop reading my emails until Monday to achieve that, though.

49 working days to go till I become unemployed - since we are doing countdowns. Looking forward to it but I am not happy about being poor . There will be an opportunity somewhere with my name on it.
