Glad you popped your head in, had to get the computer flatten and lost office 2013 thought it came with the machine but it didn't, now I have lost all my work as nothing can read it is there a free online to use?

I'm so knackered! Another couple of hours and I'm going round the clock. But at least it's Sunday tomorrow and if I do get to bed I can sleep in. In theory at least.

I have Office 2013 and Libre Office, the latter is compatible as long as you're not working with documents that use every bell and whistle in Office 2013.

handy - I think the weather is set to change again, to cool and rainy. Yay from handy... and a small boo from me.

But it's still lovely here, which is good news not only for me but for the thousands engaged in NATO exercises, which appear to be happening all over the place. The drone of helicopters through the night was... interesting, but the standout so far were the air raid sirens that started going off all over the city yesterday afternoon. Loud and so, so menacing. A bit scary, especially when one's sitting on the balcony, clueless, and trying to get legs brown. My first thought was wtf, then is this a good time to head down to the cellar, then I put the news on and found out about the NATO stuff.

Today, I've the whole day to do as I like, so we're heading to the city centre, to the beach. Yup, apparently loads of sand has been transported from the coast and Warsaw now has a handy and massive beach if you feel like a game of football or beach volleyball, or an ice cream on a deck chair as you take a break from the shopping or the commute.
