We thought about going to see the new Jungle Book movie, but a couple of Amanda's colleagues who saw it said it wasn't very good. Have any Grumpies out there seen it yet..? Any recommends anyone..? |

Quite busy!
I'm away next week, and wasn't supposed to be, so I'm trying to not only catch up but to get ahead, so my weekend is less weekendy than it should be. Hope things aren't too bad at your end. xxx |

Hugs, Laura.
Don't know how you cope with summer, Plum. That said, I really didn't want to come back to miserable grey home. It is such a fantastic, positive place and the people were so friendly and relaxed. Then it snowed. Brr. Am in a bit of a low mood wise. Post holiday blues and unsettled jobwise so I really have little to complain about. Trying to be rational isn't helping though. Need a kick up the .... |

Nah, you probably just need a nice hug (((Amica))).
I'm supposed to be packing, but can't be bothered. Not an ideal frame of mind to have when setting off in a few hours... |

I'd join you in the grinchyness handy but I really think I'm going to nail Christmas this year. I get back on the night of the 23rd, so I'm either going to get on top of everything extra early or everything will be bought from the service stations I pass on the way home, which I kind of think could work...
Either way, I'm feeling very chilled about the whole thing.

Service station Christmas sounds expensive. Travel pillows and maps for all lol.
Have decided to roll with it, enjoy my freedom and have a lie in today. Maybe I should make a Christmas plan too... |

Friday night, got some boring work crap done, got the boring domestic crap started, going to make a curry for self and Mr M to eat after Melony has gone to bed and hopefully get a decent night's sleep so we can hit the weekend running. Just started watching Series 1 of Arrow and it seems pretty good so far; the good thing about box-sets of American TV shows is the episodes only run to about 45 minutes, no ads. ![]() Weekend wishes to one and all! (not thinking about Christmas. Far too much to do!) |

That's awful. Hope it doesn't hurt too much. Will it be expensive to fix?

Oh snOwy! That sounds horrible!! The teeth thing, obviously, not the holiday - that does sound fab!
I've spent the weekend working, still on my mission to get EVERYTHING done by the 1st of December. I can't really judge if that's going to happen or not, because every time I deal with something and cross it off my list, something else takes its place. Typical! |

Typical! ![]() We've just got back from a long weekend in York. Would have been longer but after walking round the city walls this morning in the drizzle it turned into a monsoon so we quit while we were ahead. The drive back was horrible - then as we arrived home the heavens tipped it down so hard we sat in the car waiting for the chance to get indoors ![]() We're planning on seeing Fantastic Beasts in Watford next week. Youngest saw it at a preview - lucky cow - says it's even better than the Potter films, which is saying something. Can't wait. And we're going for a studio tour straight after - can't wait. Plums - hope the work stuff is resolved - must be so stressful ![]() HM - we never did make it to Spurriergate. Or Betty's!! I am married to a Neanderthal who prefers the Slug & Lettuce - which I might add has the dubious honour of being the first establishment ever to have driven me to send a meal back. Someone needs to tell their chef that chargrilled doesn't mean cremated. Good to be home - got work piling up around my ears too so lord knows what I am doing on here - procrastinating mostly Big hugs all grumpers xxx |
