Thanks all for the sympathy
![]() Melony has asked us lots of questions and I've done my best to answer them without using the phrases "put to sleep" or "injection". She finally concluded that she was "Sad but a little bit happy because Arfurr was my friend and he will still be my friend if he is in heaven". Cat heaven is probably very comfy, with a slight smell of fish...

It's always sad to lose a pet.
My dad used to keep cats, Sammy, Lucy and Tipsy, but not all at the same time. They all had their own personalities. So (((((handymelon))))). |

King hell.
Latest headphone update.
The AKGs are in the local shop, for a repair in the next 2-3 days. I've was sold a pair of replacement headphones for the princely sum of £6-99. They sound bloody good. Bargain. |

RIP Arfurr.
I know how much you'll miss him. (((melons)))Here, I keep thinking it's Saturday - both my boys are home and we're largely slobbing (they're a bad influence on me) and already thinking that it must be PG o'clock. Bad bats. |

I laughed. Take 'em back and say they aren't lo-fi enough.

I can't wait for the summer.
Although we went out for a long walk to our favourite woods today and found masses of snow, and it was all very gorgeous. Anyway, sunshine and longer days for me please, regardless. Here, I have a house full of boys (men actually ) and they're catching up with the rugby with Batman. I'm getting slowly pissed while catching up with friends on Skype. It's all good, but I've no idea who's going to be making supper. Not me! *hick*

Gawd, my teeth are going to hurt tomorrow... *goes to look at threads in Advice* |

*is bleary eyed* I spent an hour last night (well, this morning) getting a sozzled friend to step away from FB before she made any more posts about her marital problems
![]() Today, I am mostly being a taxi again. Not So Young Sad is coming with us to Not So Little Saddette's place and we're off out for a meal to celebrate her birthday. Then taking him back to his own place - just a shame they live in opposite directions. Good job we love 'em.

I got rather drunk last night. I fell over and could have possibly injured myself very seriously. I was actually unconscious for a few minutes, before I woke up. I phoned 999 this morning, as I was basically feeling very poorly. More than the basic hangover, obviously. Vodka and I don't seem to mix too well.
I am OK now. Phew. Lesson learnt. |

jra Glad you're okay. Must've been quite scary for a while.I decided to take it easy today, mostly because the boy and a friend were up incredibly late and then up very early to go off somewhere and sounded like a herd of elephants, so I felt like I hadn't slept, and also still felt a bit pissed. Any excuse to stay in bed late, then transfer to a sofa while pathetically asking for tea and toast. I'm in the mood for an afternoon film... *yawn* |
