Anyone else here remember Moonlighting?
I loved that show, until the last season which was a big let down.

Best "Will they won't they?" ever.

Judging by the ratings I've read so far, the film is shyte. Maybe, they'll release an un-rated DVD/18 or at least 15, because releasing a Die Hard film as a 12, IIRC, is like releasing the Evil Dead 1 or 2 as a U. Just ridiculous. Besides, I'll wait till the prices come down.
Definitely save your money.

Evening grumpies. We did a massive hike through the woods today. Lovely, but all that fresh air...

It surely was.
I loved the way they broke the fourth wall, had mad fantasy episodes and the like. Cybill Shephard sang a superb version of Blue Moon in one ep where they somehow ended up being in a 1930s film noir. Mad but brilliant! Mr M an I never missed and episode.

I don't think plot is the point of the Die Hard films, bats - they're about Big Explosions and Bruce in his vest.

Anyone else here remember Moonlighting? Fab!
I remember Moonlighting with Cybill Shepherd. Brucie in his early days, when he had hair. Great series.

Al Jarreau- Moonlighting pilot theme

The first three DH films were generally quite violent with lots of swearing. John McTiernan directed the first and the third, Renny Harlin (Deep Blue Sea, Cliffhanger) the second. Len Wiseman directed the fourth instalment. They were all good in their own way.

Die Hard 5 (or equivalent title), sounds a complete dogs breakfast, same for Alien vs Predator Requiem.

Die Hard 4.0 introduced the term 'fire sale'.

Are we being smutty? Apologies if not.

Here - wall to wall telly sport for the boys, and reading and general domestic goddessing for me. Well, I made mash, noticed some dust, and read for most of the afternoon, but that's as good my domestic goddessing gets these days.

Not at all BG

I posted a link I found utterly hilarious but it could have offended. It's basically uninspiring pictures of mundane food but with captions that, erm, paint it in the worst possible light.

This one was entitled "Ploppage"

We had a 45 minute power cut here. I just happened to wake up randomly and everything was off. So, I thought I'd check out the local area and the whole block was out, including the street lighting. By sheer coincidence I bumped into the electrical engineer going into the sub station and asked him what the problem was. Apparently, the 11000 volt transformer had shut down. Anyway, by the time I got home (about 5 minutes walk), the power was back on.

I used my mobile as a torch inside the house.

Same here. However, I've just ordered 2 LED torches from Amazon, at the princely price of £3-49.
