![]() Hello, Laura! ![]() Hope things are looking up for you - see you again soon. I wish it wasn't so flipping cold and cloudy all the time. And Sad - stop talking yourself down. Yes you can and yes you can and it'll be fine. Sheesh!

Hello grumpsters. I almost bought a massive bed today but had a moment of clarity when I remembered that we already have a massive bed. Phew.
But it was very, very nice, that bed. |

I'd like a massive bed, if you want to send one my way
![]() Have had a very unproductive day - am currently trying to make up for it by madly washing, tidying, you know the sort of thing. All I realy want to do is fall into a nice warm bath though so I may be gone for some time............ |

![]() ![]() One furious old grumpy woman here tonight. I discovered about an hour ago that hubby cleared out a drawer in the kitchen and chucked everything out. The everything included photos of my kids when they were younger. Having lost all my photos etc in the fire they were replacements for me from family (originals). He also chucked out my uncles wedding album from the 60's which I had planned to hand over to his family. I could cry. . Sorry just had to rant. Bin lorry came today too.

What a pain in the bum about the photographs.
Here, I'm due up the ladder again but putting it off. I've got a touch of can'tbebothered-itis. |

I know someone who died from a brain haemorrhage after falling in(to) the bath.
I first became aware of the New Guineans' attitude toward risk on a trip into a forest when I proposed pitching our tents under a tall and beautiful tree. To my surprise, my New Guinea friends absolutely refused. They explained that the tree was dead and might fall on us. Diamond makes the point that, ... |

Just want to offload. Girlie problems that I shouldn't be capable of having (hope that's cryptic enough for our honorary GOW) mean I have an 'emergency' appointment with the consultant tomorrow. Peeved doesn't begin to describe it. I would love to think the GP was overreacting but she's not that sort of person. So a quick vibe or six would be lovely around 1-2pm Thursday. I thank ewe.

HG here.
Panic not Sad. When my retina detached, I saw the GP at 17:00, was in outpatients at 13:00 the next day. It saved my eyesight. I know this is blokey advice, there's not much apparent emotion in it, but it's 2013, the 21st century, and the NHS is still here for us for things like this. Don't have faith, have trust. My euphemism of the day is "lady plumbing".

![]() handy - yes, I did make it up the ladder and spookily thought of you mid afternoon, when I suddenly and for no apparent reason remembered showing you that same place ages ago. It's looking as rough as it did then, after all kinds of tenants and being empty for ages, but I'm licking it into shape. One of these days you'll have to come and see it all spruced up! *starts vibes in Sad's direction* jra - are you a little bit grumpy today? *sends a dollop of vibe jra's way* |

Taxi company haven't had a phone handed in so I've dug out a previously redundant and quite ancient BlackBerry, and once I've charged it and find out the number I'll let you guys know it.
Big pants. I was just saying on another thread how I have a talent for losing things! |

*sends a dollop of vibe jra's way* Hope you find your phone. This is the reason I buy cheapo mobiles, in case I lose them. Although (note to self), I should back up the SIM(s). |
