Gawd, I'm knackered. Batman's got a little cold, but a big snore to go with it. He's lucky to still be alive.

Regular elbowing in the ribs seems to help that condition

I have to confess to kicking Mr Sad on occasions. Get some interesting responses too

Evening all. Have had a lovely time today with two good friends having our pictures taken. Going to spruce up my website and my Linked-In profile shots, which were very make do and mend. Am already reminded of why I never bother with mascara - look like a panda after an hour or two

Ooo, I do like a bit of lippy.

And I hold Batman's nose when he snores. It would be quite entertaining at any other time. But 3am, not so much.

Anyway, another stupidly busy day awaits. At least it's Friday, though!

That's what I thought when I got up this morning, then I remembered that I'm working Saturday as well ..... oh woe! but then again that means 4 hours extra pay ..... oh joy!!

Stressful week this week but plodding along regardless! YoungPlum has discovered that she is a natural at hockey which is pleasing her greatly as up til now she thought she had inherited my great sporting prowess, or lack thereof! I think she'll be Little Miss Keen until she gets a whack on the ankle or hit by the ball and then it will be game over. It's her birthday next week, she's going to be 11 - where has all the time gone?!

Not sure where the week has gone - let alone the last 11 years. On the plus side I have had a most productive day Work first thing then Tai Chi then new specs picked up and jewellery mended; bargain books in WHS (3 for 2 and a £5 off a £12 spend); and the diet's still going well.

However, in the interests of grumpiness I'm extremely knackered and likely to slob in front of the telly all evening, which means tomorrow I will have all the housework and laundry to sort out. Ho hum

Ice cream I take it, not bottle of champagne.

So many bottle sizes, so little time.

Step away from the bottle ..... or keep away from stairs - either or

Today has been a long day. At least now it's my weekend and as I only get one day I better make sure I put it to good use and do nothing all day apart from cook, clean, iron, shopping etc... etc... no days off for parents eh! I think I will have to beat YoungPlum soundly in the morning, just cos!

Can't be the Magnums.

I'm trying to get Batman to come out for supper, but he's saying no. I blame the rugby.

Should go out, but cba. There's a large Irish contingent over where I live. And they are a great laugh and nice to have around.

Indeed. Good morning batgirl.

Just as a catchup here. Have you finished painting various stuff.

Somebody threw a stone against my window, but found out it was a friend of one of my tenants, so I didn't have to beat them up (only joking). I said, knock on the front door next time and please don't do it again. He apologised.

That's what I like to read people up bright and early! I'm in an annoyingly good mood. I had a most excellent day at work getting up to mischief to make people laugh. I do like it when the boss isn't in, I can get in touch with my inner clown

No good reason for my good mood but I shall make hay, so to speak, while the sun shines

Hope you all have a good day and my challenge to you all is to create a bit of mischief in your day

Mischief you say. I'll be working on it.

I guess I could turn the hot water off and put drawing pins all over the main part of the house. Or I could put fishing gut as tripwires down the stairs.

The first property is about 90% done. The builders are hopefully finishing off the bathroom today, then I get time to do a bit more decorating before the carpets come next week. Two more properties to launch into after that, but much smaller, and I need to get to Warsaw soon anyway, so I'll probably have a natural break in between. But it's all pretty full on!

Plummy - you can't beat a bit of silliness.

You're never too far away from mischief just by posting on DS

I've got no-one to talk to now, everyone has gone to bed and I haven't used up my full quota of words for the day - do you have any idea what trouble this could cause? I'll have to use extra tomorrow to catch up or the backlog could be horrendous - if it carries on like this by Saturday, I'll be a gibbering idiot

Hmmmmm - I don't know what to do .... I've already read my book, skiddled around on t'internet, damned if I'm doing any housework....... I might be forced into an extremely early night but that doesn't seem like a good idea as (a) I'm not really sleepy and (b) everyone's dogs are barking - apart from mine <----- smug smilie because DestructoPup is being angelic.
