I hope so. As usual wrong place at the wrong time. I was going to ask her out on a date.
![]() Still, it pays to be friendly. She might have a gorgeous friend to fix you up with. ![]() Major grump coming up!!! *WARNING* I'm with two brokers for various insurances on cars and properties, and have been for years. One is fab - not only on price but on customer service. God knows how many people he deals with, but every time I call he knows exactly who I am, which is lovely, and he's also great at making sure I don't pay more than I need to and that I'm always covered. The other one's been insuring a couple of properties for ages and has been good enough on price so I've just let things ride. So, after informing broker 2 of a change of circumstances which might affect my premiums (blah, blah, blah) last week by email and being told thanks for letting us know, I just picked up another email telling me that they can't action anything without a poxy £25 fee, which means that for the want of a poxy £25 fee a property has been uninsured over the weekend and remains so until I deal with the **** who emailed me first thing tomorrow. No one's picking up the sodding phone right now. Dicks! I might have to pay up the poxy £25 fee because it'll be more expensive to tell them to stick their policy where the sun don't shine, but tomorrow I'll explain to them why I'm *disappointed* with them and I guess that when it comes to renewing that policy I'll be scaling down to just the one broker. I feel a tad better now I've ranted.

Hi, chaps - hope everyone had a decent weekend!
Ours has been busy in a pleasant familyish way AND - all the vibes have worked! Mr M has GOT A JOB - the one he interviewed for last Thursday. He didn't find out till half five today, so he was pretty much certain he *hadn't* got it. Best surprise for a long time! \o/ \o/ \o/ Melony is booked to spend tomorrow at the childminder's, as it happens, so we'll spend the day celebrating while she has a play day. Result!

Thanks, jra.
We were starting to get a bit edgy cos my job finishes at the end of August. Squeaky Bum Time, as Alex Ferguson once memorably phrased it. |

Trouble is it means I have to work in the freezer all day and it;s not a good place to be when you're still getting over a cold - but at the end of the day, it's double my normal hours for the day, so next week we can have a treat! I'm so looking forward to the weekend!

Hi Ima. Yes, I guess I'm being very naughty today. Can I hide under the duvet with you, with both of us giving ourselves very good vibes.
Well that's improved my day already, I have a potential under the duvet date - woop woop! and with all the vibrations I've got Good Vibrations on the brain, if I'm humming that all day there'll be trouble! ![]() Sadly now I must depart .... oh woe! Sleep well when you go
