P.S. Sad might be having a duvet day today jra. Just saying...
Blushes profusely. Sad is rather nice, as you all are, but married I believe.

I'm going to inspect some gorgeous melons right now. I like good scenery.

Hi, chaps - hope everyone had a decent weekend!

Ours has been busy in a pleasant familyish way AND - all the vibes have worked! Mr M has GOT A JOB - the one he interviewed for last Thursday. He didn't find out till half five today, so he was pretty much certain he *hadn't* got it. Best surprise for a long time! \o/ \o/ \o/

Melony is booked to spend tomorrow at the childminder's, as it happens, so we'll spend the day celebrating while she has a play day. Result!
*places pants on head somewhat belatedly and dashes around gleefully* That's fab news, that is

Plums, I think "lovely" is *exactly* the adjective we'd all choose to describe you

Hands up everybody who thinks Plummie is lovely?

*raises hand*
*raises both hands and waves them around*

P.S. Sad might be having a duvet day today jra. Just saying...
Guilty as charged. And just spent the last two hours filling an online form in that was on a par with completing a tax return. I need a stiff drink now.

Thank you. I realise that I'm talking in the main to married ladies here, but I still like a bit of a harmless flirt.

Blushes again.

Aside from stalwarts such as I (false modesty notwithstanding) you're also talking to any number of psycho nutters who don't like our happy place.

No worries, be happy and shiny (like Plum) but don't reveal on here 'cos ... it's not wise.

Project detox has hit a bit of a hurdle this evening... I bought non alcohol rose wine thinking I could fool myself with the taste - it needs a shot of voddie to be palatable

Thankfully the co-ey was still open so I dashed out for an emergency Pink Chill - too much hard work to do tonight to even contemplate not needing wine

Oh yes, the cold girl in a bikini sounds lovely.

I'm being seduced by a cold PG. It's almost Friday!

P.S. Cooking lager? Lager one drinks while cooking, right?

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that there's no harm in that - if you have nothing to hide then there's not much the stalkers can do with the info they find.

It's almost a little bit chilly this morning... I half-shivered briefly when I woke up, but then reality kicked in and it was 22 c or something so hardly worthy of a shiver It's warmed up to 24 now and should get to 29 today so it's definitely all starting to cool down a bit - roll on winter!

Thanks for all the "lovely" votes and the "happy and shiny" comment , not sure everyone would agree but I appreciate it - I'm awesome - yes it's still my word! I think I might move back to "hideous" tomorrow though as that is an old favourite.

Yesterday turned out to be as dangerous as expected and I really should have jumped under the duvet with jra instead I managed to ram a loading trolley thing into my ankle again, I do this every couple of weeks or so, I gave myself a thick lip on a sturdy cardboard box and spent the day in and out of the freezer. But it was takeaway pizza for dinner as my reward for a long day, so all was good in the end

Back to usual 4 hour shift today, which I'm not going to grumble about as the sooner the weekend comes the better!

Collette, you're so like me, you know that one has to prioritise procrastination, it's always right up there at or near the top of the list!

I've just bought a 12000 mile duvet that we can share together.

Superb! ..... baggsy you get to do the washing though

Sadly, it's worktime again so I'll have to yank my share of the duvet a bit further south east

Night night grumpies! Hmmmmm, starting to sound a bit "In the Night Garden" If it weren't 9 o'clock in the morning, I'd be needing a drink right now to get over that thought

Now, now, size isn't everything

Plums - I know, sometimes I amaze myself with my ability to be really busy and achieve very little. I work best right up against a deadline. Actually the 'best' could be removed from that statement and it'd make more sense

I've never had any complaints, put it that way, but yeah you're right, I'm never going to reach Australia. Maybe Wales.

Collette... Plummie .... we are procrastination soulmates. I am currently writing training, been at it all evening, for a course I'm committed to delivering... next week which I have been putting off since I advertised it in January

I have no idea how I am going to get handouts printed in time - I do miss having a stonking great laser printer and copier on standby in the corridor
