Hello World!

I was even texting in German last night so count yourselves lucky. Wembley ticket has been procured. Yes, my head hurts, when the whistle blew in the pub I threw caution to the winds and had a drink or two more than planned.
How unlike you!

Morning. Most horrible outside. A day chained to my lappy awaits.

*yawn*

Well done on the ticket, KJ. Hope you have a(nother) great day out!

Mad day here - two short performances to organise and another one to plan for tomorrow. *is a blur*

I'd still swap handy. The highlight of my day today will be the washing up. I'm saving that for later.

I don't know how accountants do this, day in and day out. Even tricky phone calls have been a lovely break from number crunching.

I'M SO BORED!!!

Right - I've been Tesco shopping, the car is loaded up with crap to take to the tip, I've even tidied up the fridge... Yup, my morning so far has been full of activity. Displaced activity, but hey...

DestructoPig has either had a stroke or got a middle ear infection, her head is tilted to one side. She's still eating enthusiastically so grumpy piggy vibes appreciated.

Piggy vibes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>>>>>>>>

That's my last performance finished... *sigh*
The kids were great, though, and the tinies we performed to loved it.

*falls over*

Evening all especially Snowy who always pops up to say evening and sometimes I forget to reply...

@ Batty - what are you like

Vibes to piggies ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

and congrats to HM on a job well done.

With day 4 of the week from hell over with I just have to get through tomorrow. Which is actually shaping up to be a lovely day, were it not for a silly amount of driving, yet again. On the plus side I already have enough Sainsbury's points for the Christmas shop - going to work on the Tesco ones now and swap 'em for Pizza Express vouchers when the lad goes back to Uni in September

That's proper planning that is Sad.

I got up just after 5 to get a head start on the day, and so far I've watched the news on a loop, put some bird seed out, had tea, had more tea, and I'm now going to have a bath.

I'm hoping that by writing this down I'll feel guilty at my lack of progress.

Hugs for busy Sad and busy batty

Heating on here, too, snowy.

One thing about the new regime of 5am starts - 7am tomorrow is going to feel like a massive sleep in

How's piggy, KJ?

Our accident prone cat is poorly again. She's limping on a back leg and looking very sorry for herself, and is off her food. This means she's not getting any asthma medication because the pills go in her tea. Silly old mog. So that's another vet visit for me tomorrow if she's not better in the morning...

Not cheap, pets. Healing vibes on their way.

Pissy weather, so indoor tasks planned and I think it's the Eurovision tonight. We're having a fondue .

Her head still looks wonky but she's eating and not especially lethargic, so let's hope.

Awww, KJ - belated birthday happies! (((((((hugs and cake))))))))

Thanks for the kitty vibes. She's had three injections and understandably has slept most of the day since, but she looks a bit brighter. Vet suspects a fall, which is what i thought, but says she also has emphysema due to her asthma and has put her on a course of anti-bionicals as well as her steroids and bronchil dilators. So hopefully she should perk up a lot, though she may begin to rattle when she runs!

snowy, is your boy OK? A hole in the forehead sounds a bit alarming!

No Eurovision for me - as soon as the sproglet is in bed it'll be Dr Who Series Finale Night in this household. Yeep!

We've recorded all the Whos to have in one go, the boy and I. Batman refuses to join in but we're working on him.

KJ - you'll always be 44 to me you lovely bloke, but happy birthday anyway darling.

snowy - hope he's okay. Poor thing. Like I was saying, pets and vets, right? (((Roger)))

Here, Eurovision is being recorded so we can skip the predictable voting bits later and I'm about to launch myself into the fondue. The making of it I mean, although I prepped earlier by grating about a kilo of cheese. I'm obviously in the mood to cater for a party!
