The bird "song" I hear most at the moment are cockatoos squawking in the morning and some weird howling birds whose name temporarily escapes me that make ghostie noises at night (no offence intended to our resident ghost -

@ sNowY). My favourite has to be the kookaburra though, as they make an awesome noise and always sound a bit like monkeys gibbering when they're in full flow

As to butterflies, we get a beautiful blue one around, don't see it a huge amount near where I live but you do see them from time to time, it's the Blue Ulysses Buterfly, it's an electric blue and is stunning!
I was silly last night and stayed up late watching The Voice (Australia) on t'internet as I missed it on Monday, so (a) I stayed up wayyyyyy too late and (b) it ate too much of my data allowance. I only get a piddling amount so I need to be careful about my online activities. Oh well, as the song goes "I'll survive!"
Off to work shortly, will see if we are in trouble following the stock-take on Monday night. As the pidgin Latins would say
"Semper in merda; sola altitudo mutat" ... we're always in the shit, it's only the depth that varies, and that is so true of the team I work in
Hope you all have a good evening and sleep well when you go!
I'll be sending creature healing vibes northwards while you all are in the land of nod
